the joint definitely looks weird, but based on the design of the suit, should that joint be sculpted? Looking at these two photos, it seems that part of the suit should be a smooth purple. Not sure if that is the design from the movie or Hot Toys decision. If it was a movie design, maybe Hot Toys should have deviated a bit from it.

It's hard to see details in the movie. Show 'em if you've got 'em. Anything would've been better than smooth hunks of plastic.

looking back at the prototype versus the production figure, the line down the middle of the joint in the production figure makes it look even worse. Ah well, still gotta have it. Too impatient to wait for the next one.

Motex just the way u respond kinda sounds like u work at hot toys shop and know more or have more info then just us collectors. Do u work in the toy industry or for Santa making these ? Please dont take it personal its fn hobby meant to enjoy lol is all.

It sounds that way becuase I do/did. My family has been in the industry for my entire life. Most of my friends work either in film or some type of prop/toy/statue/digital shop. Including hot toys. I take it personally when it's made personally. When some guy makes a snarky comment about ME, not he figure or the point I'm making, and then some other fool quotes just that comment and then makes a public point of "repping" him for just that it's pretty hard not to take that personal. Wouldn't you say? Especially when it's done multiple times.

Well its good 2 have pride in your work but i still dont see why seem angry or annoyed other then us discussing how what could be done better ? I only have a couple more payments to go on this bad ass. I didnt care for the argument at 1st about joints but like said good to listen to the complaints if are buying the figure. I do think HOT TOYS here's our complaints and eventually they change for the better. Like i said in a earlier post with out the complaints this hobby wouldnt evolve and get better. I welcome the critizism and mods collectors do to ultimately improve the art in the collection. Again u should not take personal even if u are the ARTIST u will always hear good n bad and learn from it. Again peace and love and have fun other wise whats the point if not enjoying the hobby.

I think some of you need to take a step back and take a break. Some of the comments that I read are definitely cringe worthy and uncalled for, especially when some Freaks make things personal.

Remember that these are just TOYS nothing more, nothing less.

We all have our opinions and those opinions are subjective.

I really understand that there must be some bigger joints to get him in the right poses. But the 2-sides paintjob on the backside of the thighs...thats really awkward and weak. Well, i got him in the collection now and he'll stay probably for a long time. It will be interesting to see if Hot Toys will re-release also the Throne or not with the second Thanos. If not the first release probably will rise in value quite fast. So ssjoeduecati boy pointed it out well in his review: One on the throne and a second one in an action pose with infinity gauntlet would make sense.

I think on putting a box under the Throne 4 Thanos he need's to be way ABOVE the myr Mortal mutant's human's at his feet to give more GOD LIKE presence.
