They where the heads...but they don't wrote everything. It's just not how it works. Yes they set the tone, they do the outline. But you have editors, the cgi people, the writers all having hands in it. And if he only had one line in one movie and the rest was just a smirk what exactly are you complaining about? His smile doesn't feel right? He has multiple on screen appearances, across years of rea world time, in films that each have multiple writers, multiple directors, multiple screen play people, multiple editors and execs. They all have a hand in the way the character comes off. It's not just two people. It's just not how it works. They have over sight, but when there's thousands of hours of tape, multiple movies, various cuts and edits things gets handed off, things get redone and missed. Sorry, but it's not just two people.

It's like you just read what you want to from comments. James Gunn did write Thanos' lines in GOTG with Feige consulting. And it's not Thanos being written over multiple years by multiple people, He's appeared twice, Avengers doesn't count as he had no lines.

You state the production team trying to make me out to be stupid and naive but you completely miss the point of my complaint at every chance and insist you know best, it's ignorant. I have one simple complaint and you can't understand it so I'll put it as plainly as I can.

I think the "lines" the words he actually speaks, not the way he speaks them just the words themselves, the ones written by Gunn who wrote the script, are not indicative of the character. I have no problems with his cgi, design, mannerisms, voice, tone etc. Just the lines.

And now a simple complaint about a detail of his character has turned into this fiasco.

I wasn't address your complaint, I was address your statement about other people's complaints, and those other complaints.

I didn't miss what you said. Nor was I trying to make you look stupid.

Your intial comment was that you thought other people's issue all focused on the GotG scenes...even though you had no way to know...and...When the comments you had replied to pointed out a difference in the tone of the character, based on not just that one movie, but all, over multiple years.

And even if I was just talking about the GotG film, it was still not just two people that shaped the character. Again, the director is not the only one who writes and handles dio, nor is he always involved in every line/step. Especially when the character is cgi.

But, what I was addressing was the assumption that it's just because of one movie that people have questions. And it's not just speaking lines that matter. It's overall tone and behavior of a character and the dio as well as interactions with others. Thanos has not been (even if brief) just one movie and he has not been written or edited constantly through the plot of the big picture, in some people's minds. I only stated that given the amount of hands/voices involved in these movies and characters it's not a surprise that things don't exactly always match up.

And yes, Gunn is credited as the writer director...but there's a bit of an issue with who gets credit for writing what. Nicole Perlman wrote the original script and screen play. She spent years developing the property and did most of the leg work getting it approved. Who did what with which character is unknown publicly, with both claiming the overall main plot, characters, story where written by them. She does say gunn added most of the humor. Which has little to do with thanos. And that's just one other person. There lots of that stuff.

And why/how is this a fiasco? Anytime people have a discusion or debate that amounts to anything more in depth then a gif or two line or a pat on the back.. people get all upset and take sides and someone has to be the bad guy and it's this big deal. Are forums not supposed to be a place to discuss? If you don't want what you said to be discussed why post it in a public place that is designed for that?

Need this figure. Don't care that he is gauntlet-less but really hope in 2019 when that figure comes out it is an accessory to be added. Thanos doesn't need a silly outfit change like Avengers do.

This fig looks great! However, I've seen a video where there were concerns with the clear column holding up his throne cracking. I want this one, but the price is pretty steep....I mean you can buy a PF for that! Not saying that it is not worth buying, but when its that price it makes me wonder if I should get a PF instead.

I still say there should be a cheaper version offered without the throne. If they can have a version of Hulk with or without that "Pre-SMASH" upper torso why not this???? I hate how he looks sitting in it and I'd never use it.

Maybe under normal circumstances. However, just picture the entire GotG collection from HT and a throned Thanos in the mix. It's going to be a beautiful sight.
