This is on my shortlist as next figure purchase after Ned Stark. It will serve as what I think is the best representation of a believable modern Cap outfit.

Yeah, it's tough to tell until you see it in action. I think a lot of people weren't into the AOU look until the movie came out.

I loved Cap's look even before the movie, and he was definitely the highlight of the whole thing - I'm not saying that it wasn't entertaining, but Ultron's character was so disappointing (I really wanted to love him, I drooled over the Ultron figure, but after seeing the movie I'm letting go of the idea of owning it.)
I think Cap will be the only one who comes home from this movie - now if only I could decide where to order him from XD

That's pretty much how I feel about it. The team was great and it's awesome Cap finally had the lead. Ultron himself was a disappointment. I hoped I might like his design after seeing the movie but I've seen it twice and like it even less.
I've got a few reward points so I'll be able to get Cap for about $200 even

I do wish they had toned down the white and red on the figure though. It was never this bright throughout the whole film.
Otherwise it turned out great and I will definitely pick him up.

Finally pulled the trigger and pre-ordered Cap. Only $126 after rewards, not a bad purchase if I do say so myself. Can't wait for that Hot Toys box to arrive this summer!

It's actually not too bright in person. The colors are a lot more muted in-hand, in natural light, than pictures usually show.

I just messaged sellers on eBay and asked if they'd offer a better price if we just deal through paypal direct and I got mine for $280 shipped. I figured that $45 difference from Sideshow would be worth it and I after having him for a few days already, I don't regret it one bit.
Other than that, This'll be my last instagram pic. I'll try to take better pics this weekend since I'll be getting my camera back.
