Has anyone got a waitlist conversion?

I would imagine the only waitlist conversions would now come from people canceling their flex orders.

Swore I wouldn't buy this figure unless I could find it for a good price.
On vacation here in South Portland,Maine. Went into a Newbury Comics and found AOU Captain America for only $189.99.
Couldn't pass that price up!

I think you are wrong on your assumption of two years away. I don't see HT making a new head sculpt for CW Cap. The only thing I see them making is his new uniform. CW comes out on May of 16, so I see the CW Cap coming out in about one year from now.

I felt bad to request a replacement through Sideshow, but my AoU Cap's shield had a pretty noticeable chip right out of the box. :\

I wouldn't feel bad. That chip would bug me too, and I would have to ask for a replacement if mine was like that.

You could be correct. They may just make a few tweaks here and there, but it is such a nice sculpt as is.

How come no one is putting Cap's shield hands / fingers around the shield handle? In these latest pix, they are all just sticking the shield to the back of his hands w/o flipping the handle down. I just think it looks unnatural this way. I did it on mine & it looks way better.

I can't do it cause it once his hand is through, the magnets aren't lined up to catch the opposite side. am I the only one with this problem here?

Just force the hand a bit through the handle a bit more. I just use the normal fist hand...never liked how the magnetic palm grip thing looked.

I ordered mine in June, got him in July, and glad I did. Anyone that thinks the $259 price at BBTS will stay there is wrong, it will go to $299, as soon as low stock hits that point, just like w/ StarLord, Aldo, Indy, etc...so if your on the fence I would do it soon. Ebay prices have been all over for awhile, you just need to look at sold listings to see that even before he went sold out almost everywhere some sellers were getting well over $300 for him...

I ordered Cap through Monsters in Motion only to have them cancel due to an inventory error. Sideshow, Alter Ego, Midtown, they're all gone. Unless you wanna' check Amazon, the SS Freaks boards or go through the eBay whirlwind I would suggest sucking up the $259 BBTS price (like I did) before it gets worse.

This is a blast to pose for a Cap HT, even more solid than Stealth Strike IMO

The easier flexible biceps are great for posing


Widow blends well with the AOU version IMO

Hi all, I'm new on here. Just looking for a bit of advice!

I've had cap on preorder with forbidden planet since July. They say he is due in October.

Now I dunno if I'm just getting worried over nothing (which I probably am). But even though this guy is selling out everywhere and people aren't taking preorders anymore. I'll still get mine won't i? Surely they will honour the preorder?

I'm probably being stupid. Just never had one sell out while it's been on order!
