Hi all, I'm new on here. Just looking for a bit of advice!

I've had cap on preorder with forbidden planet since July. They say he is due in October.

Now I dunno if I'm just getting worried over nothing (which I probably am). But even though this guy is selling out everywhere and people aren't taking preorders anymore. I'll still get mine won't i? Surely they will honour the preorder?

I'm probably being stupid. Just never had one sell out while it's been on order!

Hi mate. Forbidden planet will be later than a lot of suppliers as they have to wait for it to be shipped to the UK officially. You will get it don't worry. I used to use them but found other UK suppliers like collectiblekitbash, collectibles direct and the good the bad and the robots to name a few were cheaper.

Speaking of which my cap just arrived ����

No issues but I can see what people mean about the eyes. Iron man due next week and that completes my aou line up until Thor is released

Might try another uk supplier for a future order. Although I've never had an issue with forbidden planet

All indications so far are that he's actually WL'd at Sideshow, not going to magically come back and be readily available like some figures have. I too miss the "low inventory" days. But I'm pretty sure even when they had that feature it wasn't very accurate.

I have ordered mine from them as well - pre-ordered so late that all the other cheaper UK sellers had no slots left , so I too am also still waiting for mine. Hopefully it won't be too much longer! They have always managed to honour my other Hot Toys pre-orders including Star-Lord (another one which I left until the last minute to pre-order ), so we should be ok!

It definitely wasn't, and we can both attest to that my friend. It would definitely be nice if we can have an idea whether or not we should go with the $20 monthly code or if it'd be worth waiting for a % off. They seemed to have gone back to the way things were before last year's fiasco of nearly everything going to % discount + free shipping mode due to overproduction. I don't mind pre-ordering or waiting 3 months to get $20 off, but I definitely don't enjoy the feeling when I purchase something only to have it go on discount a month or two later, and I think many people don't enjoy that as well.

I sure don't. I was waiting on this fig but it may be the second in "quick" sell out(first being Star Lord) and Ill have to pay a little more attention to how sales are going for figs I want. I did find this Cap for $240 shipped just last night so I got "lucky" but now I'm watching BW a little more closely as she's next on my list.

Yeah, that's exactly why I haven't bought Wolverine and why I was waiting on Falcon. Spend $250 now only for it to be $180 a month later with triple rewards.

Even now I'm still irritated I missed out on TDW Thor 40% off. The coupon was only active for a few hours and by the time I got around to ordering they removed it.

Haha yeah I did the same with Starlord too. Got MK III diecast on preorder too. I'm sure we will be alright! Can't wait to get it!

IMO he's definitely worth all the trouble you guys are going for to obtain him at this point.

Everything is top notch, I didn't think I would like the new stand but it balances him well



I can see why HT decided to give him the shifted look, in the right lighting it has true presence



Especially with Widow, very impressed

Yes, if anything ever unfortunately happened to my AoU Cap, I would get another one in a heart beat.

Regardless of the price, this figure is a must have in my collection. It should be a must have in anyone's collection for that matter.
