What makes you think that?

I believe historically, only the 2 Avengers Caps include the unmasked HS. The standalone movie Caps don't include one. For TWS, you only get the unmasked HS in the Steve Roger civvies set (which is repainted to become the AOU unmasked HS).

Bingo. I'm following this paradigm.

The only single packaged Cap figures that have included an unmasked sculpt have been from the Avengers films. Excluding TWS dual pack, none of the solo Cap figures from his solo films have included an extra sculpt. As others have mentioned, I also don't see them recycling the same unmasked sculpt for a third time, unless they perhaps opt to give it some cuts and scrapes (depending on how marred his face gets in the film).

However, to be optimistic, you can also look at it from the perspective that from A1 onward, there has been at least a figure from each film that Cap has been in that has included an unmasked sculpt in some capacity: A1 Cap, civvy Steve from TWS dual pack (meant to be interchangeable with SS Cap) and AoU Cap.

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgBeen taking some shots of Cap this cold Sunday with a Civil War flavour...

Edit: Doh! Was supposed to crop a couple of shots but you get the gist!

HA! Sideshow FINALLY sent the cancelation notice for my waitlist reservation today (1/20). I got on the waitlist on 8/20/2015, 5 months to the day! It was pretty obvious a couple months ago that he was not coming back. :slap I haven't decided if that was just wishful thinking on Sideshow's part or laziness.

Having said that... if anyone is looking to sell their AoU Cap because they'd rather have a CW Cap, let me know! :)

Has anyone put the strike suit on this body?
To be honest, the Strike suit was the problem for Stealth Cap's posing issues so putting it onto this Cap's body would be kinda pointless

Hey hey :lol

Well SSC's automated stuff has been lacking a little, keep in mind that people do flex till after the figure is released and that SSC needs to keep additional figures on the side for when people asks for replacements

I know a lot of SS Cap's limited arm mobility was due to the tailoring of the suit, but AoU Cap's shoulder joints do seem to be a bit looser than other figures; perhaps as a way to also compensate for the tight fitting suit and increase mobility.

If someone wants to give it a shot and see if putting the SS on the AoU body improves anything to their liking, I say go for it. :lol

I was on that waitlist too but never got converted either. I was lucky I found this Cap in a LCS for $250 when it was already on eBay for $350 and up. I can't believe myself how SS dragged that waitlist this long when it already sold by the end of summer.
