No, his shoulders are way too narrow, his arms aren't thick enough and his chest is too small. And they had it right on the prototype. Why change it?

I actually thought the Strike Cap's prototype's frame seem to be slightly too big, although HT did go overboard when ringing in the changes for the final product.

But having owned the Strike Cap set for quite a while, the figures' grown on me and for me, the body issues just seem to dissipate to be a non-issue overtime, because they still look great overall. I don't know if that's down to the suit design, the fantastic HS and shield, or HT's really great reproduction of the costume in 1/6 form, or some combination of those points.

I'm just hoping that the new Cap has at least the Rogers figure's proportions, and that his arms can bend inward normally, and not protrude out like the Strike Cap's.

Aaaaaaaaand back to being pi$$ed about wimpy narrow shoulders and smaller arms. This figure was top on my want list and now I might have to settle for just getting the Figuarts.

I didn't like the look of the shoulders too but if the articulation is better I can live that. I too have grown to love the stealth suit Cap despite its limitations.

I'd love to see HT tackle this figure in 1/4 scale. Darken up/dirty the uniform and throw in some battle damage.

Why thank you! It feels so wrong to have Star-Lord in my sig while I am so excited for Age of Ultron, but I just took that pic yesterday and it made for a good sig. I'll change it to AoU sometime soon though.

So far, I have the Captain and Hawkeye preordered. Ultron is a maybe and I'm waiting to see the new Iron Man armor to decide on which to get. The other characters may have to wait.
