Oh ****. they just gotta raise the chest piece to help the neck problem. Or just lower the neck/trapezius.

So they fixed some things but they just need to get some of the proportions a little better. I'm happy with some of the tweaks they did though.

*oops, I meant to edit my last post. :p

In that comparison I can see the chest piece is lower than it should be and a little off, thats all I see though
While the chest piece looks pretty low, I think the angle isn't doing it any favors since the photo is taken from above while the "camera" in the film still is shot at a low angle. The chest and abdomen deisgn definitely look different though.

Looking at King Arts's figure, I have a strange feeling that HT might have taken some cues from them, and that's right, including the different chest/abdomen:

I mean, what reference material are they working off of? The chest looks like a different model altogether.

Were there any differences between the two Ultron Prime bodies he used or did both companies really just screw that up? :dunno

I think the KA Proportions look better. But HT should have time to improve some things. But my god, if they could match the proportions of Ultron in that screenshot there, then we have an absolute winner. The Ultron ears seem to be sticking out quite a bit.

Whilst the king arts one is also off in a lot of places, it looks a lot better then the HT. Especially proportion wise but also the face.

Weird enough, the main thing I ALWAYS look for in buying HT figures are proportions. They can be a tad off like the Iron Man heads though they're getting better. But yeah as long as the proportions aren't complete ****, then I'll get them.

And I still think people over exaggerated quite a bit with Stealth Cap in terms of proportions. The only thing I really saw that was wrong was the lack of pecs.

Anyway, yeah, I just hope Hot Toys modifies the proportions of Prime.

The face on KA's sculpt leaves a lot to be desired. It's missing certain details and the sculpt looks soft in a number of places; not to mention it's mouth doesn't seem to move unlike the HT figure. I think HT finally nailed the head sculpt; it looks nice and sharp, and the sculpt has the right amount of details without going overboard.

Really, HT just needs to fix the neck/upper chest area and it'll be pretty damn close to perfect.

The more I see of Ultron in from the movie, the more the neck on the HT figure bothers me... I really hope they do something about it.

It has already been produced in the thousands... they won't throw those away and start over.

They best that you can hope for is Ultron Prime 2.0 several years from now.

Produced thousands already huh? Care to prove it?

They modified the head as was talked about in the last page or so, how do you know they won't modify anything else? Or is this just another one of your terribly wrong assumptions?

I think you need to stop pretending that you know how HT works because based on most of the posts i've seen from you since you joined, it's painfully obvious that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Is that too many for all worldwide markets and I don't think that the neck is swapable like the head might be and even if it was why would they waste time and money on it when people will buy the fig anyway?

While I doubt they will change it, it's still in prototype phase so it's not out of the realm of possibility. As for it being produced in the thousands already, I HIGHLY doubt that. We probably won't see this until Q2 next year. If they were that far along, we'd get it much sooner and we wouldn't see changes in the display proto.

There is a whole world outside of America you know?

I assume that you are American but who knows?

I am, but I don't see what that has to do with anything... It's still in prototype phase, how do you not understand that? It's like you only read what you feel like reading... If we're still seeing changes to the display proto, that is a pretty clear sign that they aren't in production yet.

He's also too skinny which seems to be a trademark for Hot Toys. I can never understand why they insist on making some of their figures so skinny.

Yes! Someone else sees it! I hate this so much, tends to be worst on robot like figures. It's also on Thanos but I actually prefer him being less hulking than he was on the throne.

Only one Prime model in the film. Both chests are inaccurate...haven't see that chest on any promo art either. If I could take HT's paint job and put it on KA's figure I'd be happy. But I'd rather buy from a known company such as HT.

HT's chest seems to low down as well.

Whats so difficult with getting this one right?

Isn't it all computer graphics?

It should be easy to create a 100% correct replica from the data files.

This figure is 1+ year away from release, final product is not going to look close to either of those pictures anyways.
