Yup, I posted that and forgot to add that even when he had Widow as "companionship", it was only really to torment and scare her. He did have the need to share his accomplishments with someone, but it was of the usual self-serving and confused nature as all his other behaviors

Great villain and seemingly underrated. Only real problem I had was I wanted more of him :lol

I was hoping he would survive, maybe his defeat he would retreat almost Megatron style where he was almost impossible to kill. He defiantly was a villain unlike half the marvel villains, Ultron had so much depth to him and personality and he will be remembered despite his small lifespan. Loki's problem was? great character poor villain, Ultron had the complete package. Ultron was a strong villain who had a plan that could beat the avengers and wipe out the planet, and he talked a good game and he lived up to allot of that, because he was so close in his 2 stage plan, he was a great character and he was not bland. It was interesting with Ultron, he saw the problem with the metallic physical form it kept breaking down, it can never heel itself because metal does not work that way, has the reason why he had to keep changing body's, so vision would solved his physical form. If Ultron managed to transfer his essence to the new body, it would have given him the means to do what he needed to do, and his body can self heel which his metallic physical form could not do. So in all Ultron was great knowing his own weakness's, and trying to solve them, and there was nothing inept about him has a villain. He wanted change, not to just the world but himself needed change

Yeah it's common for digital effects to be tweaked right up till 10-14 days from the first theatrical release when it becomes a "locked" edit. Up till that point things are still being worked and reworked. It's crazy how close they cut it. And with a huge film with so much cgi aou had the tightest finish to deadline I have seen in a long while.

It's why when the trailer stuff comes out I'm always saying don't get to fixated on a design, especially a digital one. And when production art like for the 46 drops I keep saying to reserve judgment and wait.

This is what we have to expect with figures... If the figure is going to come out or be developed before the lfinal cut of the film is in (generally two weeks to a month before theater) we need to be ready for some inaccuracies. Otherwise they wait till its ironed out, and then we go back to figures dropping 18-24 months after the movie premier. With costume humans the risk of changes is less, but does occasionally happen. But with cgi characters it happens almost every film.

It's a trade off.

I was hoping he would survive

How do we know he didn't? All he would have had to have done was leave a drone or two hidden somewhere outside of Sokovia before the battle began. A new movie could easily open with Vision blowing away the drone in the forest and then cut to South Korea...an underground lab, a lone drone's eyes light up...

So I finally managed to source where King Arts and those differing HT sculpts are based on, inaccurate chest and all...

Seems like even the much-loved Empire magazine cover was inaccurate as I had previously suspected when I compared it to other screencaps. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if the filmmakers kept tweaking Ultron's design till the last minute, just like what they did with the Sentries.

From what I can tell across all the different promo materials, I think the most accurate depiction of Ultron came very late with the most recent EW magazine cover:

Honestly, looking at videos and pics, I think the primary sculpt for the HT Ultron Prime is by far the most accurate in terms of matching those details. Really, all they need to do is sharpen/refine the sculpt and thicken the neck.

That first picture absolutely rocks. Beautiful.

Vision did say in their final scene, "You're the last one" where Ultron replies, "You were supposed to be the last." I do see your point though, you can never count someone dead in any comic universe. :lol

I hope ultron does return, its a long shot, but spader does such an awesome job I just want more Ultron. Why not bring him back? but where would he fit in?

The last one...from Sokovia. ;)

haha :joy
I think Vision did more than cut him from the net when he mind melded with him, I think he probably downloaded a list of active and inactive sentries and their locations so he could track them and destroy them, that or he knew where they were anyway
