I don't know I guess. 7-8-9 feet tall. I thought maybe 16 inches sounded about right. Evidently not.

I'm not taking about the film version. I'm asking why you assume the production is shorter them the prototype

And look at thanos..14ish inches tall and the character is 6-7 foot tall. So 14.5 or 15 inches would be about right. And this appears to over that

don't look at the 45. look at shotgun who is on roughly the same size stand in flying pose off the stand and its head is still only around ultrons shoulders. it's how the 45 is placed in the photo, it looks 2" taller than fury.

I was just asking if for some reason they made the production figure shorter. I was not assuming that was the case. I do not frequent the Marvel section much and thought perhaps I had missed something. You could have just said 'no'.

Thank you. Perhaps that's what threw me off.

I "simply" asked why you thought it got shorter. The rest was follow up comments. You make it seem like I went off or was over critical. I don't know how tall you thought it was to start with, or how tall you thought it was now...or why you thought there was a Difference.
Did this figure get smaller? I though this was going to be like 16 inches tall?

How tall do you think he is?

Actually your first question has nothing to do with your second nor your last answer above. And I did answer it. My answer didn't seem to satisfy you.

Your second question was answered in my last post.

:lol

I don't know if this chart makes any difference or if it's even canon...

...but if it is, then a 1/6 Ultron should be around 16 inches in height. The figure could very well be shorter than that though we have no way of knowing for sure at the moment.

The proto was around 15 inches at toy soul. Which would be a pretty big figure..

I posted this statement a while ago on this thread. Though I should have said H.K., and not U.S. I posted it on 04/09.

"Should be Nick Fury, Storm Trooper/Flametrooper, and then at end of April into early May we should see 1st shipments of Ultron here in U.S. I am not in a hurry though, as there is so much coming out this Spring."

Is it the angle or did they beef up the neck? Looking good either way, looking forward to this beast :yess:

i totally agree. i loved age of ultron, and particularly enjoyed ultron himself.

he was extremely cool looking. from the mark 1 to ultimate ultron. all of them looked great. ultron mark 1 was just creepy, it was a great introduction to the character. prime is awesome, to me that look IS ultron. and ultimate ultron was bad ass and looked like he beefed up for battle.

i'm not sure what else people wanted out of the movie. i feel it did a solid job at continuing and building upon the rift between steve and tony. it fleshed out some of the characters a bit more, we learned more about the relationships between the team, and it fed the larger picture.

part of me thinks that, for some people, the movie was never going to live up to expectations. the first avengers movie was great because there wasn't really anything like it. heroes with their own franchises coming together for a movie. age of ultron was never going to live up to that. also, i think some people are just looking more towards infinity wars since that'll come closer to giving people the feeling they had for the first avengers movie.

i don't think civil war is going to suffer from this though because it's going to be hero vs hero.

but hey, i'm someone who enjoyed iron man 2, iron man 3, and the dark world.. so what do i know?

Absolutely agree and I like IM2, IM3 (for the most part) and DW also.

Exactly. The movie goes out of its way to actually highlight how he was like an evil A.I. version of Stark, which I'm totally fine with given the context of the film. That said, I agree. Despite its flaws, I actually find AOU having a lot of replay value. When you watch individual scenes you can actually see a lot of brilliant moments, it's just a shame that it's a lot more messy when put together as a whole.

Tons of replay value in my book! I've watched it many times over since it was released on Blu Ray, both in full and in parts, and I've grown to recognize the brilliance in it. The movie has gotten better every time I've watched it despite having its flaws, but the main one that people complained about most has completely wased away for me; the pacing problem. Would this have benefitted from 10 more minutes to round some things out and a little more Ultron being badass? Sure, but it was great as is
