Finally got my Black Widow this evening! I'll admit I was worried about her hair before I opened the box, but I think it actually looks pretty good in person. What a fantastic figure!

Nice pictures Zack.

The hair is indeed not all THAT bad stock, but I still adjusted mine a bit. I really like this figure as well and she looks great standing next to Cap and MK XLIII. Each figure looks great on its own, but it really brings out even more how great they are when you stand them next to one another.

The hair on mine really doesn't look like it had a lot of gel put into it. Not sure whether I'll eventually adjust her hair or not, but right now I think I'll leave it alone. I agree, I think she looks great next to Cap especially, but ultimately I decided to keep the "big three" together, which leaves no room for Widow without looking crowded. That's okay though...Hawkeye is shipping soon so I'll put the two of them together!

the hair is too long stock, i trimmed it a bit.

Yeah, the stock hair isn't atrocious in my opinion, but I felt it could be a bit better with just a simple alteration. And I agree, if there's any Avenger figure that it's obligatory that Widow be next to, it's Hawkeye!

I trimmed her hair a little and put some gel on it .
It turns out great. Way better than out of the box.

How exactly did you rinse the glue out? Just straight hot water or any kind of soap??

I didn't use hot water, just barely warm. I stuck the heads under the water facing up and just kinda massaged the glue out- rubbing the hair between my fingers until it lost the stiffness.

I arranged the hair back down in position (or as close as I could get with it being wet) and let it dry and then used a tiny comb to style it back into place.
