1/6 Hot Toys - MMS288 - Avengers: AoU - Black Widow Collectible Figure

Does anyone here have both the aou widow and the tws widow? Which do you prefer if you could keep one? Having difficulty deciding between the two. I do have the avengers one though!

As much as I like the AoU Widow, in all honesty, I like TWS one better.

However, if you already have the Avengers Widow and don't have the AoU Widow nor TWS one, I'd get AoU. TWS Widow and Avengers Widow are like 1a and 1b for me respectively, so I'd go for the AoU Widow so you can say you have Widow from both Avengers films.

Are the aou and tws bodies the same?
Prefer the tws suit over the blue lines of the aou though. Both have that starry eyed look too.

Eh, I'm not sure about the bodies, but every Widow body essentially looks the same when compared to the IM2 Widow body.

I could be incorrect, but I'd be more inclined to say TWS and AoU Widow bodies are the same. At least very close to.

Like I said before, TWS Widow and Avengers Widow are 1a and 1b for me respectively. The both have great headsculpts and they both have the black leather spy outfit; though the Avengers Widow has more leather than TWS Widow. I agree with you that I'm not overly fond of the blue piping on AoU Widow's suit, but being that's how the outfit was in AoU, HT did a great job at replicating that suit to 1/6 scale. It really is a great figure.

I suppose my point is that if you have the Avengers Widow already, it's almost every bit as great as having TWS one, and being that you already have the Avengers one to kind of represent that all black suit, I would get AoU Widow because it's also a great figure and I can say I have the Widows from both Avengers films.

It's your call though. You really can't go wrong either way.

I'm in a similar bind. I want to sell my TWS one and get the AoU one, just to have an updated one. just debating on pulling the metaphorical trigger to do that

Yeah kinda wish i had gotten the winter soldier widow, at the time though when i canceled strike captain and winter soldier it just seemed silly to have widow all by herself. And since i am starting an AOU team i needed the AOU widow. Really wish they hadn't changed her hair back to short again for AOU, this would have looked a lot better with the long hair i think.

Wonder if someone can try the modding the hair on this or switching heads. I did buy a WS black widow knockoff head on evilbay to try but i wont have it for a while.

Well the funny thing is i ordered it from HK, which u think to america would take a long time, but no it only takes about a week to reach the us. It sits in customs over at california for another week almost, stupid customs.
