I told myself that I wouldn't buy more than one of each Avenger (except for Iron Man of course ), but Hawkeye's CW outfit is perhaps one of the coolest superhero outfits in the entire MCU so far. There's no way I'm passing that up.

That looks really badass! I'm happy I got the Avengers AoU Hawkeye still, as you can't wait forever, but damn is this a great outfit. Hindsight, I would've waited...but it's never clear who they'd do for Civil War anyway from Hot Toys. I'm guessing their latest sculpt will be repainted (which usually means even better!) I can't double dip though...still, it's a beauty!

Damn...told myself initially I would wait to see the CW version of Hawkeye but got impatient and ordered AOU. Loving the CW outfit ... buuuut that won't be out for another year so AOU will be a placeholder until then.

I don't know... something about the AoU suit just says "Hawkeye" more to me than this one.
Not sure exactly what it is that I am not caring for. Maybe seeing it done on a figure will change my mind.

Won't have to worry about that until at least September 2016 or later, so I am good with his AoU figure.

His CW suit looks really cool. I too, will also stick with the AoU figure though.

With the exception of TWS line, I usually collect entire lines (or most of) from the group movies (Avengers) and only get select figures from the in-between, solo films.

Don't like the navy blue though. It doesn't work well with the purple parts of the costume.

Good post. This sums up where I'm at too: did my final payment yesterday afternoon on my AoU Hawkeye...saw the Civil War costume 15 hours later and immediately suffered buyers regret BUT what am I going to do between now and 2017 when Hot Toys maybe releases a CW Hawkeye?

The other positive for me is I locked in a price for AoU Hawkeye at the pre-Aussie dollar crash exchange rate.
Basically all HT figures are about 25% more expensive now for Australians than they were last year, even setting aside the increase in retail pricing. Sucks.

So far I'm pleased with my decision to buy widow, Hawkeye, IM, and cap from AOU. I think they are all superior designs.

Haha that's interesting. I think that AOU Nat is one of, if not the worst designs in the MCU so far. XD I think her WS design is the best one imo, it just fits the character so perfectly and I thought that the AOU one just had way way too much going on. I also really did not care for the lights either. But that's just me.

I am more interested in "team" designs. I like this hawkeye suit too but it doesn't say "avenger uniform" to me. It doesn't really work with my display. That's why I got Nat too. spy suit vs avengers suit

Yeah, same here in Canada. We're paying roughly 30% more...I paid a $90 NRD for Arkham Knight and it cost me $121 Canadian. Brutal!

So yeah, I'm GUESSING that they will release this. I think they pumped out the Avengers crew as fast as they could so that ordering again in the near future wouldn't be "total insanity." Even if it is! That said, if my friend doesn't buy it off me, I may sell this one...or attempt to sell it. I still really like the AoU version! He's got an awesome sculpt, I love his bow, and the outfit is cool. This one today just spoke to me instantly though...whereas my buddy and his g/f both hate it!

So it'll be for some but not for others! I'll have to see what happens in the near future and then make choices from there. All I know is that between all the amazing POs on deck, prices going up, and our dollar crashing...my wallet is going to hate me when the Star Wars and DC figures begin to come out!

Yeah even with Popcultcha (Australia) the preorder price was $309.99 $AUD. But once it came instock yesterday it jumped to $349.99 AUD.

I still have the AOU on PO. But may cancel, and wait for the CW. Love the jacket on AOU. But the tactical look of the CW is great. These concept art peices have been very accurate so far. But I and to see some movie photo pics first, before I decide. Only getting one Hawkeye.
