that pic is playing the angles though, and Im anticipating the AOU version as well, hoping with the jacket they can give us double jointed elbows to be able to do this kind of ****

I believe the prototype had double jointed elbows.

Uh yeah but with any figure you want to find the angle where it looks best. To make it look as real as possible and like it came right out of the movie. With the avengers version you could do that. Your original argument was that we weren't missing anything because it couldn't do any shooting poses and that it sucked ***.
-Well an average $500 cost on eBay as well as people constantly saying "I missed out" suggests yeah we missed something.
-He can do the shooting poses and even look good at certain angles.
-And it sucking *** is your opinion. It absolutely could have been better but it was still awesome and I have no doubt the AoU version will be that much better.

Well said. Clearly the figure isn't perfect but I would still buy it if I could. Regardless of whether it can achieve movie accurate poses. I think it can but it maybe doesnt look right at certain angles, sure, but that could be said for a lot of figures from Avengers and people praise those constantly.

The point is he can do those poses. Does it look 100% natural like a person? No because it is a figure. Does look good tho? In my opinion yes.

That is awesome. And I can't wait to order the AoU version. Nevertheless, I respect that you have a different opinion. It's what ever.

:goodpost: :exactly: Looks great, LS been smokin too much herb up in Canada today.

I love how even the figure can do Jeremy's terrible archery posture. XD

I think it looks good. One of my fav figures. Is it perfect, no. But until they can replicate tendons and muscle and skin some poses just won't look right with a fully articulated figure. It's why they have the new hulk with a static pose. But he can still shoot the bow, fly the quin, talk surely

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AoU - Hawkeye Collectible Figure

part of the reason that pose might not look good is because the bow string is not pulled back.. I don't know if it can :dunno
haha when you look at it from the side it looks a lot like the bow I have. I don't have any trick arrows but I'm a good shot :wink1: :lol

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AoU - Hawkeye Collectible Figure

The only thing I really dislike about the Avengers Hawkeye figure is the mechanism they designed to attach the quiver to the back of the figure.

Absolute piece of **** and pain in the ***! :lol
