Yeah but he never wore them with his uniform while most of the promo pics and art had him with the shades on.

They will. Case and point: HT had the EX1 Barney Ross head on display at shows on the EX2 Barney body. The final specs go up, and it's a new sculpt. The fact that they had all the Avengers there albeit with old headsculpts is amazing. They will all have new sculpts. This line will be their biggest focus in 2015. Even bigger than the Wars.

Maybe so but the thing with all the Avengers figures we will most likely see figures based on these characters at least 3 more times. THor and Cap have their own movies coming up and then the Avengers 2 parts sequels. I know Hot Toys will maybe the figures based on popularity, but at the same time they must be loving that the costumes are so similar to the can save on material and designs. The sculpts maybe updated as was the case with Loki for the Avengers and then for the Thor dark world the costume was basicly reused minus the armor but the sculpt was tweeked a little probably to encourage people who purchased the Avengers version to shell out money and buy the dar world version.

Can't blame them, really. Cases like Spider-Man it is essentially voice over work as they can't "act" through expressions and whatnot.

Although there is body language and some expression does show through the mask.

So, patience regarding what he'll look like is really what's needed. lol & I have to admit I was being a bit thick with HS & didn't know it referred to head sculpt..., sometimes I look at the letters people put & I get them, other times obviously not BUT thanks for helping a dumb newbie with HS, think I'll start asking what letters mean now when I don't know.

No worries. I didn't know what it meant at one time either. And it's never a bad idea to ask what an acronym or Abbreviation is if you are not sure. I have to ask my daughter all time what she is writing. Lol

Like the saying goes, we learn something new every day. Sometimes that stands out more so in the mind as being very true. My daughter tells me off for not abbreviating words, tells me I take too long to reply because of it..., I tell her half the time she's waiting for me to reply is probably because I'm trying to work out what she's just sent me..., LOL, PMSL & ROTFL are about the only ones I know instantly. lol

If you are in a comic book movie I think most people will know there will likely be some sort of action figure of them... just maybe not expected to this level of detail lol
