Not done with the shelf but thought I'd share my Luke.

Love the museum-style set up.:clap

It does look a little like he's just sneezed though.:lol

Thanks, yea it does! Trying to match up the shelf color with the pic still. Was debating doing sand too but if I change up the pose it may not look right.

It is a little surprising the a "sand" base wasn't included here...I would probably end up displaying him that way...

Actually it has the best fine details I have ever seen in any die cast. I'm talking SMALL details, all metal, that are not distorted or dulled at all by the molding process. And the best part is, it's in perfect scale with Luke, purely by accident. It costs about $15.00 on ebay, and I highly recommend picking one up for Luke while you still can.

Great tip! Done!

Currently on a wild goose chase with UPS but I should have his in my hands tonight.

Just a small warning: The T-16 needs to be cut loose from it's black plastic stand, and it's kind of a hassle. Be careful not to break the long gun rod, which is plastic.

The bottom round plastic part underneath the stand can be pried off. After that there's just a screw that needs to be undone as it holds the skyhopper in place.

I found that out a few days ago when I cut off the base. The cap looked to me like it was molded together as part of the base, but I was wrong. The two tiny tabs on the cap looked like releases, but I couldn't squeeze them, so I just cut the whole thing off. I'm really glad the screw hole is so long; that will make it easy to install the custom tripod stand.
First though, I'm going to cut off the belly gun module, using a thin Dremel cutting disc from the rear of the ship.

Still can't find the batteries, but I snapped a few pictures. I will probably stick with this pose for a while, with minor adjustments here and there.

Dumb question but... I can't seem to find where the batteries are in this packaging?
Already in the arm! There should be a small clear plastic tab which needs to be pulled out. Then voila let there be light.

Ahhh, thanks! My first light up figure from Hot Toys was Kylo and I believe the batteries came separate for him so that's why I didn't think to look in the arm.
