Sideshow is saying she's sold out now. Bit confused though as I still have a couple months left paying for her. Shouldn't she still be listed as "waitlist" if folks are still making payments?

Maybe since all the Payment Plan Leia's are all accounted for, best to just list it as Sold Out as to not give anyone hope:dunno

Meaning they can't fulfill any more new orders. The remaining stock they have left is already reserved for outstanding orders, including yours.

Yours is reserved. All remaining stock(minus a small margin of extras) are all gone.
The extras are a statistical calculation of how many in the remaining amount they might need to use to replace defenctive ones and/or parts thereof.
Once a certain period of time passes without anyone needing replacement parts or a whole figure, they give the rest over to people still on the wait list.

It doesn't look like any Jyn style hair I saw her wear in RO. I think he's misdirecting.

It could be Leia but the fact he said "not yet" makes me believe it's Jyn without the front half of her hair. I reeeeelly hope he is misdirecting and it's either ESB or TFA Leia

Trying to sell my sealed Leia for weeks but no one's buying but after seeing her in R1 and Carrie's passing, I decided to keep the figure.

The woman dies and everyone wants to remember her in the outfit (slave) that she hated the most. :slap

Yeah. Don't get it. Carrie Fisher fought against sexism and she made it clear she could not stand that outfit. If we want to honor her in the proper way of who she was as a person, and how she was represented then any other outfits would be ideal to go with instead of that slave outfit.

Not being distasteful by any means, but I'll be getting this Vanderstelt print I have framed pretty soon to put next to Vader and Padme on my wall.

Hoth or Bespin Leia are her best performance and I would buy either. I would take Slave Leia too, but the other two seem more likely.

Have to say that she's got her biggest balls in ANH. Outfit wise I think ESB would be best and would translate excellently in figure form, but they kinda hamstrung her, had her nag/complain a bit too much on the falcon for my liking.

Once Han is frozen she starts kicking *** again, teaming up with Chewie to choke Lando for answers, etc. The relationship neutered both of them unfortunately.

I totally get your point of view, but if you put the slave outfit in context she's using her chain to destroy Jabba, who has enslaved her, and foreshadowing the way that the rebellion as a whole will destroy the emperor with his own weapon, Vader. So there's more than one way to look at it - Jabba takes away her freedom and humiliates her, she fights back and wins.

But yeah, Lucas also wanted to put her in a metal bikini.

There are two ways of looking at it: Fisher's perspective...and the testosterone-laden nerd perspective.

I hope that the HT figure goes the way of the Chewie figure....

Scalper galore...then the re issue killed them all.

I saw chewie as high as 1000.00 after the sell out.....now he's back close to retail.

Same will probably happen here.

Chewie and Han both sold out very fast. Leia was sitting there for almost a year. They were even offering free shipping to push her out the door. I don't think they'll do another run.

I guess no one here has heard the story about the genesis of the bikini. Carrie complained that Leia's wardrobe "wasn't very feminine or flattering";George responded with the bikini. For a costume she supposedly hated, she certainly wore it enough...P

Regardless of what Fisher thought of it, I've come to like the Slave Leia outfit a lot less than I used to. For how it takes a formerly strong and complex character and turns her into a silent, helpless *** object to be leered at by both Jabba and the audience for a chunk of the movie (and the fact she ultimately kills Jabba or destroys the sail barge doesn't really change that very much, considering she's still running around in a skimpy outfit the entire time and showing tons of skin).

All you have to do is just imagine how ridiculous and offensive it would be to see Rey or Jyn treated that same way in a future movie, after the strong characters they've been built up and developed into. And it should seem just as ridiculous for Leia.

I guess I don't think it was ridiculous to put leia into the slave outfit considering the context of the situation. I mean she was a sexy as hell intruder captured inside the palace of an infamous scoundrel:dunno. Personally I don't think any less of Leia the heroein because of the outfit, its far from the only time I have seen a woman I admire in hot looking attire.
