yeah, the original picture I posted of the Antman on Iron Man shoulders is the ML version. I think because of the angle of pic I took, it makes it look like hes standing up a bit more, instead of in the seating position as shown in the photo you posted (with Cap and Ant Man)

ahhh, my mistake then. Yeah, the camera angle got me and yours totally looks like he;s standing:lol

i bought the ML ant-man figure just for the tiny ant-man figure and that ant.

i think the scale of the ML tiny ant-man& ant is good companion for the Hot toys ant-man.

Agreed, he's actually perfect and does the job well. I actually him him displayed in Rocket's hand at the moment.

So buying this Ant-Man figure especially since we are getting a Paul Rudd head sculpt even though it's just inside the helmet still is better than nothing. Saw the movie last week and loved it a lot. I'm hoping we might see him make a cameo in Civil War.

Spoiler just in case. But I'm fairly certain he's going to have a substantial part in CW.

He's slated to be in it for more than just a cameo.

In the comics, he's supposed to be on team Stark in favoring the Superhuman Registration Act, but I'm not sure what side they're intending on having him on in the films. It could go either way. Hank Pym seems like he'd be in favor of it so it'd be natural Scott would follow the views of his mentor, but at the same time, Ant-Man seems like he has a budding friendship with Falcon, who is obviously on team Cap. So we'll see.

You're talking about Hank being on Tony's side, right? Scott was dead at that point. XD

I'm talking about Ant-Man being on Tony's side, yes.

Scott is definitely gonna be on Steve's side in the MCU. And I think Hank would be on Steve's side as well since he's not a fan of the Starks.

Ant-Man wasn't part of Civil War though, Giant Man and Goliath were.

Comic book Hank and MCU are the same and different in some ways. Kinda like how MCU Tony is.

That's true on second thought regarding Hank in the MCU.

He didn't seem to be too big a fan of the Avengers in general judging by his sarcastic remarks about them which made me think he'd be in favor of the Act, but you're right regarding his dissension with the Starks that could cause him to side with Steve.

And Scott's budding friendship with Falcon leads me to believe he'd be on team Cap as well. Especially the post credits scene with Falcon saying, "I know a guy."

That, and I do feel like Tony is gonna try and bribe Scott to his side with money to help provide for Cassie and child support.

Exactly. From everything they've shown about Scott's beliefs in Ant-Man, he doesn't seem to be a fan of rich people, so I don't see how he'd like Tony.

I feel like Ant-Man/Scott Lang would be the perfect replacement for Spider-Man in Civil War:

- Theme of family
- Dual identity
- A regular guy in a suit with a heart of gold
- Humor/sarcasm

Stark helps upgrade the Ant-Man suit (much to Hank's disapproval), Stark screws up big time and then Scott switches side.

Just saw the movie...I didn't want it to end, loved it. I haven't put AM on PO yet but will eventually, sad that it won't drop till next year. After seeing the first teaser it's pretty clear (IMO) the suit will be updated so it's all the more reason to get this one. Only myself and two other people stuck around for the second teaser; I love how they tie all these movies together!

Just got back from the movie and been avoiding the thread for fear of spoilers. Debating preordering but real just want a minifigure version for the shelf. What is the consensus on the ML or Selects one?

Im in the same boat I loved the movie and need one in the collection but full size Ant-man seems it wouldnt show case his power so I want a tiny one. I would suggest the marvel legends for that since it comes with Anthony the ant, but if you want the best quality and are willing to spend a few extra bucks wait for hot toys
