What is going on with his jacket? Why are the arms separate pieces from the torso? Are those rubber arms?

The villain looks way cooler than the hero. I'm seriously considering skipping this version and only getting Yellow Jacket. Maybe they'll change Ant-man later on

It's most likely for articulation purposes but it actually bugs me to a point. I think it's cause of the material of the suit too. I don't think it works as well as it does for Cap's cloth uniforms. I'd personally have it be one piece on Ant-Man and Yellowjacket.

Looks fine the way it is given the free range of articulation it gives. To be honest I didn't even notice that until someone mentioned it. The figures outfit material looks to be really thick and if it was a one piece on the shoulder/armpit you wouldn't be able to move the arm up at all without it bouncing back down.

It was actually the very first thing I noticed. I'm honestly more of a museum pose guy so I wouldn't exactly care about a huge range of articulation and I completely understand why they designed it this way. I'd never pose anyone with arms raised or anything unless I was REALLY REALLY bored and wanted to take an action shot for fun but i'm really just trying to build an awesome group shot. Kinda something like this. For the most part, everyone is in a good, standing museum pose and this is the kind of shot i'm eventually trying to get with my figures.

But yeah you're totally right about the material being thick thus the design choice. I'll probably have to wait and see more pics to see if I wanna buy the full figure or not. My original plan was to just get a smaller version to put on Hulk or something anyway. Other than that though, this is still a damn fine looking figure. Same goes with Yellowjacket.

Wouldn't want it to turn out like that 3A Master Chief!

Seeing as how AM is jumping and flipping all over the place in those trailers, the more articulation the better.

Cap is my favorite Avenger, but Ant-Man might have the best suit of all of them. Love the design.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Not the Drone treatment!

Exactly. Change for change's sake. :slap

I actually don't know why they made that design change, they may have had good reason to/a legal obligation to do so, but I haven't heard about it.

So much for keeping my collection focused on Star Wars! I really like this and yellow jacket a lot!
