I also hope we get that gash across the chest armour for the battle damaged chest piece. This was absent from the initial prototype photos...but I'm sure they will add it. The damage is from Captain Americas shield throw. I am 100% displaying the WM with the BD chest plate. The gash, knarled metal looks very amazing.

I think the damage is from
Vison's ray that takes out WM's arc reactor

I thought he was talking about the mark across the top of his chest as shown in the movie still.

After scouring the internet, I ordered through Midtown comics. 8% discount and $30 shipping brought it to $347. They have a Deadpool that's not discounted and probably still $30 shipping.

Good luck!

Not ordering "previews" orders from them anymore.

Ordered CW Cap and it still hasn't shipped out yet.

Being in the east coast, expect an additional 4 weeks on top of when BBTS/local shops get theirs.

If that is okay with you, all the power to you.

Not a problem for me, I'll have more time to enjoy the mk 1. I actually wish their release dates weren't so close. It's a lot of money at one time. Plus my wife's b-day in November, our anniversary in November, the 5 year olds b-day in November, then Christmas.........

Yup, it is a lot of money at one time. Planning to just not eat out LOL

At least the two weren't released in consecutive weeks.. So far it should be more than a month between releases.

I can't wait to see a full photo shoot of this thing.

I wait listed this thing. Should I just pre-order it confirmed at some other place? Or are the changes good and I should just wait it out?

Now that I can finally count the number of Ultron drones he had shot down - 22!?
Just 22? From the movie he shot down more than that, right?
Maybe each tally represents 5 or 10 :)

I got on the waitlist 4 days ago. It took it going to waitlist for me to know for sure that I wanted it. Now that I know I want it I sure hope my waitlist will convert.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing elsewhere as well if mine does not convert. Maybe even before then. I missed out on the Scarlet Witch special edition when it was waitlisted - I don't want to miss out on this War Machine. Supposedly, chances for conversion are much higher with regular releases, though.

Is there a reason that people seem to be reluctant to order from anywhere besides Sideshow and BBTS?

Well SSC is the NA distributor for HTs and they have a pretty good returns system. They also give you reward points for buying. That's why I mainly go with SSC.

BBTS, the appeal for me is that they don't have NRDs and to my understanding they also double box. Might wanna check on the boxing part, I haven't had anything ship to me from them

I'll third that.. BBTS does double box, they're also pretty well known for their solid customer service.

If there's something that I know I really want, I'll order immediately from sideshow.. If I'm on the fence, I'll preorder with BBTS.

My only complaint with BBTS is they don't have a "buy this much and you get free shipping".. Or some kind of points system. But I will say that their pile of loot option is quite nice (I am currently building one, waiting on the last 2 figuarts turtles) and their shipping prices are much more reasonable than sideshow. Oh, and they don't require a signature upon delivery which is great. (For me)

For the signature all you need to do is sign up for UPS my choice and you can sign digitally. It also gives you a ton of other options l, like redirecting any packages scheduled to be delivered at your address to anywhere else, you can tell them where to leave any packages, it gives you a 4 hour window when it will be delivered (not just a day), and even notifies you of any items mailed to you. I usually get my ups my choice notification before sideshow even marks items as shipped.

Since you guys are talking about it in here, what's type of shipping do you guys go with? The Mk1 will be my first figure from them and I'm wondering if I'm good with the saver shipping, though I would like the option to pick-up my package at a UPS store.

Just really depends on you and what you want.

I am not sure why it matters what shipping we pick since we're all in different budgets, regions, preferences and patience.

Do you want it faster? Then pay extra.
