I ended up getting my figure early today, and man is this one heavy figure! It's my first diecast figure so it was pretty surprising. It's awesome though. He looks great all loaded up with his weapons. Unfortunately the screws to the head and back are stripped, so I'll have to find a way to remove them. Now I need an Iron Man to go with him.

Just curious how does the weight compare to the Mark I? Are they the same, or is one heavier?

Mine arrived, unboxed and lights work. This is my first die cast and it's sooo heavy! Head screw was a bit stripped but I got it out and lightly back in. My first Iron Man was the pink panties Iron Man and these die cast figures are amazing. It feels like how much it cost...not cheap plastic. Can't wait for my Mark 45.

The Mk 1 is slightly heavier.

Thanks, that must be a heavy figure alright. It would be really nice to have both, but I'm glad I was able to get this one as it's also a great looking figure.

And if these were all diecast, they'd be maybe 15 lbs? [emoji54]I'm already nervous as is keeping him standing on his stand. I really wish he had a more sturdy crotch grabber. This one doesn't hold the figure well.

Yes the only thing to complain is the stand also for me. Not even that it feels unsecure but also it is not matching with the worth of the figure. The IM 3 diecast bases were much better. F.e. MK42 or Iron Patriot

Yeah, the stand leaves a lot to be desired. I love the stand that came with the 45. And the base that comes with the 6 looks incredible, it's a shame the 1's is so lackluster.

If I had to choose between the 1 and the 3 I'd definitely choose the 3.

The IM3 bases do look more sturdy, and yeah nicer overall for the presentation. Matches the armor look. I wish they at least gave it a waist-grabber stand that has a metal pole. That way it could handle the weight of the figure.

And TimothyR, nice man I can certainly see why this figure is high on people's list and gets great reviews. I like the bulkiness of both the Mark I and III.

UPDATE: Well just as it was about bedtime, I was putting the figure back into a museum pose when the left front armor flap at the hip fell off. Not the big one on the side, but the small one at the front. Wasn't even being rough with it at all. I anxiously checked it out and saw a square groove where the base of it was glued into. Hot Toys and their glue I tell ya. Now I have to glue it back into place, but it's probably difficult as you can't really see what you're doing. Anybody have a similar issue?

Not yet with the WM Mark 3, but I also noticed that this left flap is just a little bit hard going as his left brother.

but I had a simialr issue with the Irion Patriot. left Flap (also the small one) fell off. So I pulled out the leg, repaired the flap and stick also the leg back. I dont thing it is a big issue removing the leg because they asemble it also like this in the factory. But yes i understand it is always hard to strip down your own figure.

I had mine standing on top of one of my detolfs for two days then I decided to stop pushing my luck and boxed him up and put in storage. That crotch grabber dose not seem secure enough for this figure to me.

That's good that you were able to get the head screw out, I couldn't. I'll hopefully be getting a replacement next week!

Made a picture... Tried to be as good as Yoshi

Thanks for replying about that. At least I wasn't the only one with this issue. I did what you did and popped the leg off, then glued it back into place and now I'm letting it dry. It is kinda spooky taking the leg off and on like that but it was alright. Nice picture too by the way!

Malgus, yeah I'm not sure I can trust this stand to keep him standing. I might try to find another stand for the figure that's more sturdy.

Here's a picture of mine (before I glued the flap, so you can see the opening there):

Awesome figure. Can't wait to put up more pics with the MK45 base I got for him.
