Honestly looks fine to me? I know the proto had straight leather and was more accurate but we would of been bitchin about the articulation. I can accept what is shown there and looks basically awesome.

The new fabric looks far more accurate than the old one IMO. It's the proportions that are the problem here.

That collar looks humongous. Can't say I'm surprised that the figure in the latest pics doesn't look nearly as nice as the one in the promo pics. But I'm not panicking. Yet.

To me his head looks freakishly long now, I'm terribly worried ... The prototype originally shown in the pre order was perfection. Such a shame if they've dropped the ball like this. Also what gives with the turtle neck, it doesn't even make sense!

His head looks fine, it's just the oddly high collar. No reason to cry just yet, maybe they have more than one prototype and that's the one they had on hand.

Seriously hot toys wants to make money. They know a 235.00 figure better not have any serious flaws or it will tank. Look at mark 45 Iron Man mms 300. Protos looked way worse (even though I didn't mind) than the final shipped product which looks to be me new all time favorite hot toys perfect in every way. Wait till we have a released to the public figure before you grab your torches pitchforks.

Oh there are a lot of figures hot toys has produced with major flaws over the years. From the degrading rubber to the pink underwear, it still hasn't thrown Hot Toys off.

A few that looked way better on the Sideshow site too.. From my personal collection there is John Matrix for a start.. But the prize truly has to go to Sideshow's own Nathan Drake figure. God help Hot Toys if they ever do a final product that disappointing...

I've had issues with sideshow actual pieces predator 1:1 classic bio, large gloves on my Vader clone armor being loose . guess I've been lucky with my hot toy collecting so far no duds. I've heard about the rubber degrading from the aliens but that's about it oh and the anh Vader gloves.... Either way I have faith hot toys will still wow us on the final product. We will find out soon enough lol.

Of all the Hot Toys figures I have while some are better than others I've never been completely disappointed in one. Then again I don't think I'm as picky as the average collector.

The irony is that this figure looked miles better than the Sideshow deadpool but with this new update they're pretty equal. What bugs me is that the material looks cheap and looks more like a custom, and for the pemium we are paying I hope they revert back to the high quality prototype they showed in the beginning.

I'm chomping at the but whatever was decided for the final figure has already been set into motion. On the hot toys calender he is slated for August I think.

I may have exagerated a little about the sideshow deadpool comparison , but in all seriousness I may consider cancelling my pre order if this is the final product we get. I hope they delay it if they have to and improve it, as a big deadpool fan the protype we first saw on the showcase was the best toy I have ever seen, making me even more bitterly dissapointed about the new pics released.

Most likely it's just a bad picture. There always comes a time in all of these hottoys threads where we get some bad photos from one of these stores with lens distortion, and everyone (including myself) freaks out. It has happened with almost every figure I've PO'd. You can also tell that the figure was very badly posed. One of his shin guards isn't even on the right way. I feel confident that what ever we get will be better than those pictures.

Going back and looking at stills from the movie, I actually prefer the new fabric. I think it matches much better than what was initially shown off. It's just the head/neck area that looks a little wonky. But I'll wait to see more photos.
