With this release, I feel like we'll be getting what we did not get with the die-cast Mark III. I love the die-cast Mark III, but it would have been great to have added articulation and maybe a few other features. This will definitely make up for all of that. REALLY looking forward to this armor next year.

I keep seeing the term hpp being thrown around here, and I've gotta know what it is! I can't ignore it any longer!

House party protocol...the final scenes of iron man 3 where the boat load of suits flown by mostly Jarvis show up to beat the extremist soldiers.

I remember when I would see RT being used interchangeably with chest reactor it would drive me crazy because I couldn't figure out what RT stood for :lol

Is anyone having problems accessing Sideshow's website from their IPhone? Every other website works but theirs doesn't load. I was going to PO the Mark 6.

I don't think they've ever done just the crunch on it's own. The torso area most likely does rotate and if you look at this photo you can see that the abs extends out as well. Be weird if they end up not adding rotation to this one.

not sure why the original release never excited me but this looks like a can't miss figure, that's drop dropping, hopefully the paint comes out that metallic looking in the production version.

Ah, thanks for clearing the whole HPP thing up for me guys. I thought people were referring to those suits as HoA suits.

I hope the lights under the chest dont affect the articulation. If that means less posing they could have just left that feature out.

I agree with Motux that it won't affect articulation at all. As an example, and yes they are completely different molds, the Shotgun armor has a big LED built into the waist and it was one of the best articulated armors.

Good example. Though unique/different suits they show how it's not only possible but that hot toys has done it.

I think the waist/torso articulation is probably good...but from the Proto pics it seems the ankle articulation is not great.

This is pretty much all I need as far as ankle articulation:

Slightly wider than the hips and they're still flat on the ground. It can at least achieve a natural standing position. That was a gripe I had with the Mk3, you pretty much needed the legs to be directly under the hips. Which limited natural looking standing positions to a stiff museum pose.

There is no reason to believe it will have any worse articulation then the previous edition. The figure people bring up when questioning IM articulation is the mk3dc. Which had essentially the same points of articulation as the previous release, or more. Nothing has been shown that indicates they would not follow the same template but upgrade it.

And since all these questions keep coming up i asked a few of the South Korea artist that are at the con. And they said it will be better in every respect then the last mk6, and have more articulation not less. The first mk6 has extendable ab section, it twists, it has ankle aero iron (it's on a ball joint). I asked about the 45 as a thing to compare and was told much like that but the 6dc won't have the ab flap section. But it will have expandable elbow joints and legs like the 45. It will have the upgraded shotgun/45 type head articulation. So it should be able to do more poses and have more articutluon then ever single figure ever made by them, Except the 45.

I just noticed that from these pics. I mean I'm hoping that it is an amazing figure. By the time roles around I'll see where I am financially and with collecting. I may get this. It is really nice and I could make room for another IM (mK3 DC And this). But it is so far off. I would buy it when it ships.
