Don't have it in hand yet, but I can see this surpassing the 46 for the #1 spot for me.

Yeah I can see that. They are definately the 2 best out there. WM MK1 is my fav of the suits, but the 46 and 6 look so amazing side by side. Wow I can't wait.

Man this one is a beauty. Tempted to dump my RP in this.

Wow. That photo tells me I don't need the Mark IV after all. This will do beautifully. Just wow.

EDIT: The lines on the chest piece are more aggressive and so is the triangular arc reactor -- and the silver details highlight a mechanized appearance. I still love the Mark IV but this is freakin' iconic. Glad I ordered it.

Looks fantastic. Total home run.

I totally agree!

The colours look absolutely stunning and the battle damage is just like the WM MK1. Those two look like they've been in a war.
I believe this will be my favorite "Iron Man" figure.

The body proportions are dead on, to my eye.

Usually I'm like "head's a bit too big/small" "Waist too thin/thick" etc

I wonder if HT will redo the Hall of Armor ‘cos a) now the DC versions are taller b) presumably they get featured again in a scene in either A3 or A4 from set pictures.

Everything is on the table these days, I think its just a matter of when. I'd even take the Aircraft carrier HOA from Avengers just for this piece, but then i'd need 2

I ordered this guy and changed my mind on the Gantry version. I cant help but love the battle damage and all the other features this one has.

So I just pre-ordered this guy...I had the plastic version which I loved due to the change out BD parts, etc...But I got into the diecast figures and ordered the WM Mk 1 and CW War Machine, and LOVE them both, so I kinda have to get a diecast IM to go with them...I had bought the Mk 45 version, but it looked a little too sleek and modern, I wanted something that had more of the "bulk" look to it...And after seeing some of the pictures posted on here, I have no doubt I will be pleased with this one...And will probably get a Mark VII if and when it eventually comes...

THIS!

Now if they did the Mark 4 "Special Project" version that might look good.

Yep... exactly how I feel. Plus, it's more different than the MkIIIdc I already have... :panic: :thud: :horror

In all seriously, I also like the stand and the option to display damage is there (not that I'm intending to at this stage) .. I think the stand should work well in the display I'm planning with my III and quarter scale 43.

In other news, I got a thank you code after my Star-Lord was shipped yesterday and I can use it on the MkII or the MkVI (the latter I already have ordered).. Man, that makes the II tempting, but if I go down that route, V and IV will follow, along with the inevitable VII... at $500NZ a pop..
