the proto looks the same but the one we actually got is slightly reworked as well as repainted i think. The tree looks a bit curved here, but in the proto it looks straight? And the biggest rock design at the back maybe?

I could be wrong but its what my deliberation ascertained.

I have both, they are the same just the plant leaves are in slightly different places and the paint has been changed up a tad.

HT reuses stands a lot. The Captain America EX, Iron Man, Thor, Superman, Hulk and proably a few more that i'm forgetting have had stands used on other figures.

just got this couple days ago, so cool do love it. fun to pose, reading guardians of the whills now. stick is not suppose to be perfectly straight correct? arms cant swing up very far kinda stop or outfit restricts at certain point which is annoying. only nit pick really that and wish bottom of robe was dusty.

for those that haven't read guardians of the whills and wondered wht the box is on front hanging off white belt its a echo placement thing to help chirrut navigate surroundings, works like a bats sonar i guess.

also at one point baze wore the same style outfit as Chirrut(sans white belt), back when he was a force loving guardian of the whills and not all jaded as we see him in RO. love to see a Baze in chirrut outfit custom if HT's ever releases him.

think there would be enough interest for a custom maker to do a run of his stick with led at lamp in end? so it can light up as it did on Eadu?

I have that as well. It has to be the staff because it is only those two hands. The lightbow hands do not have it.
