People are complaining about a monk from a moon of Jedha being Asian and using martial arts...

Donnie is the one who developed his fight choreography in the film and decided he should be blind. Anyone who thinks having Donnie Yen in a film needs to reevalute what it means to be happy. There have been white people doing Asian influenced sword fighting in every film. And there is am Asian girl in Episode 8 who as far as we know does nothing distinctly asian.

It's good to have the conversation, but DS's point is well taken. And to War Gor's point, it does rather feel on the nose. Hopefully when we get more back story and see it all unfold, it'll feel more Star Warsy from a galaxy far far away and less imported from the real world.

Figure re looks cool as hell though. Pre Order please. And don't make us wait for the key players like we are for Poe! Poe for POTUS 2017!

It was never an actual rumor. A bunch of people just said they wanted Finn and Poe to hook up. Which isn't happening and we already know who his love interest is in Episode 8.

You can't dismiss this as "tabloid." There have been dozens of major news stories (i.e. non-tabloid outlets) that have discussed it. Confirmed it's going to happen? No. Discussed it extensively and in some way willing/hoping for it to happen? Definitely.

Variety is the #1 entertainment industry publication in the world. For them to publish that article says this cannot be dismissed and is definitely in the "possible" column.

1) The tabloid comment was about the first link. It's legit a tabloid website.

2) The Variety article never says anything about there being a rumor of it happening it just says that it should happen.

I got the Death Trooper this week, so you'll be glad to know the image on the base is actually an optional decal. I'm baffled as to why HT thought it would be a good idea (maybe Disney's idea?).
