Yea, the back and top of the head are where you can really see the dreads looks really good. From the front, while still looking really good, doesn't have that same impact but I do like seeing all the real wrapping on the dreads. Would've been nice to have gotten that on the sculpted versions also. Sad that they appear to have skipped out on the knot at the back of the bandana though and instead opted to hide the closure underneath the "tail" of dreads. Even Medicom/Enterbay had the real fabric knot on theirs.

If I can't get the artisan, I'll at least opt for Dino's fabric bandana to place over the plastic one


Very true! and I admit on being wrong that it wouldn't be that big of a deal and only minor when it does look to be a worth while upgrade over the previous doll hair

I agree though If I fail to score an Artisan and get the sculpted deluxe, I'll probably also get a bandana from Dino and replace it.

I would have originally opted for something else. But seeing this is pretty impressive.

This figure is frustrating on so many levels.

It's a character I like from a movie I don't like.

The overall figure looks great, but I want a COTBP or DMC version instead (probably will never happen)

As good as it looks, the solid plastic beads take away some of the realism from the rest of the details.

I love the smirking face, but I dislike the serious face.

Does he have the Sparrow tattoo and "P" branding on the right forearm?

And finally, how accessible are the Artisan figures? Is it a cluster **** to order one from SS?

Depends on who you ask. Some ppl on here have been able to get every artisan figure that has gone up with what appears to be ease for them. Other's have gotten one or none at all. Sideshow does a randomized queue system for the exclusives that tends to fail some of the time. I had a lower number on Anakin and thought I was guaranteed to get one. Then the system paused and reshuffled right before it went live and I got pushed way back. I had no problem getting Joker though. Wanda I tried but wasn't on point enough to actually get one as I got to the queue late so there really was no chance.

I did get in for both Joker and Anakin, just didn't want to purchase either.

This one I want, so I figure I won't get in in time.

HT hats always had that issue... honestly most of the clothing looks reused from DX15 from the inaccurate coat color to the giant hat.

it really is. Appears to be the same as the DX15 which is worse than the DX06 which also wasn't the best but definitely better than the DX15. I think I would've preferred a really well sculpted hat with proper textures and paint apps so that it would look real enough without the bulk of being actual fabric material.

That's what it feels like every time. It will look out of reach b/c you're going to have so many ppl on multiple devices (at least a PC and mobile device) at one time as well. Once orders start going though, the numbers begin to drop considerably though as ppl get off whatever extra devices they were using.
