Someone mentioned it earlier, but I'd also like HT to try a few more expressions other than the same two over the last 3 figures.

In that way, being the same face, HT Sparrow's face is a lot like Vader's mask. It changes only in increments.

Would be amazing if Yixie could do some alternate faceplates.

Bit of a strange question for those fellow Artisan guys.

Does your smile portrait fit on the little notch in the tube? I wanted to display the extra faceplate but it doesn't seem to grip onto the acrylic tube piece. Anyone else's do this?

TBH not tempted to try. When it doubt tho there's putties or tape. Except some of those leave residue.

I received my Hot Toys Jack. All in all cost me $500 for the sculpted deluxe. Not even the artisan.

In my particular case, Hot Toys are getting really expensive. Shipping adds a lot. Plus customs. Plus seller markups. No way around it anymore.

You guys in the US have it easy.

But this puts things into perspective. The money I'd spend on a 1K custom would essentially only buy me 2 regular Hot Toys. And the price gap keeps closing.

As such, I'll be cutting back drastically (already had) on factory figures, and leaning more into customs.

Crazy.

This makes me want the rum bottle more.

An accessory pack from somebody would be ideal. Relatively simple. Just needs a little care to get his hat right.

Yeah, I've appreciated a couple of YT vids in high res, super close up, the details are staggering. Well, yeah, I've got a rum bottle from previous versions, tho IMO a rum barrel and another bottle or two would be appreciated.

I've never cast resin, but already wondering if just making bottles would be an interesting first project. Or, if there's one of those glass workers who make lampwork glass beads and animals, they could probably output a whole bunch of glass rum bottles.

It's quite curious, especially given that in the first 4 movies, rum was an indulgence, but in the movie this figure is based on, he was a full on, washed out drunk with a bottle frequently in hand.
