Jack! In the Star Wars shelf because he has no where else to go. But what would Jack get up to in the Star Wars universe 🤔

I haven't even taken the plastic off the hands yet. I'm just underwhelmed by it. It's a DX 15.5 in my eyes. I know I'll have fun photographing it this summer, but I wish I watched more comparison videos on this before I paid for it. But in my defense I was super excited to get it, now I'm just whatever on it. It doesn't help that the DX15 still looks phenomenal, so to me this is has some upgrades (rooted hair, paint on the face) and some downgrades (hat, hands, sword). The base is incredible though, I have the DX 15 on that right now.

I think if this was from a different movie in the series instead of a rehash, I would be more excited. I'd give this a 7/10 overall.

I imagine he'd take the Falcon from Han and paint it black as his Black Pearl 2.0 and try to make as much credits that would be the closest thing to gold. Basically he'd fit right in.

As impressive as the Hot Toys rooted dreads might be in figure form, I think Rzeznikk’s custom dreadlocks are much more appropriately scaled. It goes to show how thick they are on the Artisan figure. Wild.

I also don’t understand what’s with those little large bundle wisps of hair at the sides of the face. Is there way to bring out the wavy hair out like the source material?
It's better in hand but who knows since this is their first attempt will they do another jack from COTBP or DMC and do a better job with the dreads and hair. I can see them doing that I but we'll see one day.

I’m still waiting on Sideshow to ship out the DX38. Just sold the Artisan yesterday.

But yeah, if they make either of the first three movies look, I’ll upgrade and go Artisan if the dreadlocks are better.

It’s essentially needle felting technique. You take wool and literally stab it with a needle or sharp implement until it becomes tight and shaped as desired.

Still an amazing feat at this scale and the intricate detailing of it.
