Lol this was supposed to be The Dark Knight Returns version in live action. But I honestly prefer he were slimmer, like he is in some of the comics. View attachment 642351
Why doesn't someone just make that classic suit?
Gunn maybe?

I hope so. If you've seen the Blue Beetle trailer at the end he's in Ted Cords hideout or lab and you can see classic BB outfits. It would be great to finally get this live action it wouldn't look ridiculous if done right same with Superman in his classic outfit. Why doesn't someone just make that classic suit?
Gunn maybe?
The head can turn. He actually comes with two heads. One articulated and one seamlessLooks good to me. Can his head finally turn???
Might cancel my Tactical Batman for this....
Good catch! It also says so in the specs:Prototype at Secret Base, seem to come with two cowls, one normal and one articulable.

HT recalled the TS John Connor sculpt for the hideous paint apps why back when too.Because they've been doing whatever they hell they want with no consequences for over 15+ years now.
It's sad how the only time they had to recall and adjust a sculpt was for a ******* Iron Man figure.
Welp there it is. This is quite literally a licensed Stuntman Batman figure.Someone on Reddit posed an interview with Richard, a Batfleck stunt double who claims he signed likeness rights on figures because Affleck wouldn't allow his. I don't know if he was in there for the Flash but, it does bring credence to the thought this happened here.

It's his Batman obviously only HT didn't bother trying to get likeness rights so they went with a generic chin. It's clear who it's supposed to be but it's not 100% him to avoid any issues. I'm sure they'll find a way to fix it but even if they do the majority on here won't be buying this figure. My biggest issue is why is there a seam line in front of his pants at the groin, it looks like he put his pants on backwards.

Pretty sure they have made the 89 Batnmobile smaller than it should be too. Whether by design or by mistake.Yeah I guess you are right, this bike is still pretty big. But I don’t understand why Hot Toys felt the need to make it clearly smaller than it should be. I still love the design and will buy it, but part of what makes this bike so cool to me is what a huge beast it is in the film. I think I like the almost comic book like size of the bike in the trailers. It makes you think what type of lunatic would get on that thing ….oh yeah Batman.
Do you guys think Hot Toys intentionally made this bike undersized for display purposes or some other reason? Or do you think they sort of just screwed up with their math on this?
The suit sucks, he's also way too bulky, but when I look at this image and it's not Affleck is what I think totally kills it. It's not like we are getting the last appearance of Batfleck with a motorbike, it's not even him.Prototype at Secret Base, seem to come with two cowls, one normal and one articulable.

He was up for being Batman/Bruce Wayne enough to be in the Flash and film a cameo for Aquaman last summer. A lot has changed in WB and DC since then.Crazy that he wouldn't sign off on his likeness for figures/collectibles on this film when he's said multiple times how much he enjoyed playing Batman in this one and the more recent talks about finally "cracking the code" on how to play Batman while doing this movie.
Exactly. It's more about politics with WB than anything else at this point. He even said a couple of months ago that he wouldn't work with Gunn on anything, despite Gunn saying they were working together. Made Gunn look pretty bad exposing his liesHe was up for being Batman/Bruce Wayne enough to be in the Flash and film a cameo for Aquaman last summer. A lot has changed in WB and DC since then.
I think this info relates to the Keaton version. It's a synopsis of the movie.Interesting description in the Sideshow listing for this figure too.
"Worlds are colliding in The Flash when Barry Allen uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to alter the events of the past. On this top-speed journey, he meets an alternate-universe version of Batman in the next evolution of Batsuit too! How exciting!"
Yeah, real exciting !!
I completely understand that. I keep up with (or at least try) most of the DC news so I'm not saying it out of ignorance. BUT it doesn't change the fact that it's not like he's talking negatively about the movie now nor his time while filming. He still speaks positively about it and more recently has been saying how he finally cracked the code on playing Batman/Bruce Wayne. So, if he had great time on the film, what does it even matter what direction the DCU is going in now or his relationship with Gunn is? Unless he's actually lying of course. He was up for being Batman/Bruce Wayne enough to be in the Flash and film a cameo for Aquaman last summer. A lot has changed in WB and DC since then.
