Rewatching the movie I really hate how cheap and flimsy the suit looked on screen, and it's almost like they went out of their way to make it look bad and unflattering on him. But it does make for a pretty cool figure at least.
Apparently from BTS videos Keaton asked the costume design team to keep the stiffness of the suit and cowl since that's how he remembers it in the original films. They did want to make it easier for him to move his body and neck but said okay to his request.Rewatching the movie I really hate how cheap and flimsy the suit looked on screen, and it's almost like they went out of their way to make it look bad and unflattering on him. Agreed! I said as much in my first post in this thread. HT had plenty of time to update the ‘89 figure to something more like this if they wanted to. It’s a shame they didn’tSuch a colossal bummer they didn’t build the ‘89 2.0 like this - hard plastic armor with a soft goods undersuit.
Wow didn't think I'd have any interest in this but the figure looks so good! Both headsculpts look amazing!
Also, if they can do this suit with the fabric suit and armor on top, there's no reason they can't do the same for the '89 figure
