Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TV - MARVEL: Daredevil - Daredevil & Punisher Collectible Figures
Is Agents of Shield popular in China?

I hope he comes with a LOT of guns. I already have a small armory built up, and I plan on getting more.
Sounds like I'll finally be buying figures from the "Marvel Cinematic Universe."
About time Hot Toys touches on the best part of that world.
This is HT haha. Don't expect much. I'd love very much to be proven wrong upon release...but given their recent track record, he'll come with a quarter of his weapons. You as well as I, may very well have to gear him up with the 1/6 weapons we've collected over the years.
Yeah, chances are he'll come with one rifle and a pistol lol. Ideally he'd have a sniper, assault rifle, shotgun, and the minigun. Winter Soldier had a decent amount of weapons so I'm hoping. If not, it isn't a huge problem as 1/6 firearms are easy to find. I'm already planning to pose him with that M134 minigun. I've loved that promo image from the second I saw it, still bummed he didn't mow down ninjas with it.
Over at the Deadpool thread I mentioned a few months ago about a line long-thought dead being revived due to great demand from collectors. To those who asked what that line was, this is it.
Try not to believe those who always claim they have the right sources. LOL.
Hey ya never know. Even though DD is getting a line of figures, you still gotta keep expectations in check. The first coulson son of coul wasn't a big seller...so personally speaking I can't imagine an updated version will sell much better. As for the other characters...well, ask yourself this, do you honestly think their designs are compelling enough for a figure?
HT are no doubt re-dipping their toes into the pool. It's been a long time coming, And quite frankly it's wise of them to do DD first. AoS has been on a little longer than DD...however nothing within that show screams for an action figure y'know what I mean?
Whatever popularity AOS had also seems to be waning. It had series low ratings this season, the network refused to pick up the proposed Mockingbird spin-off, and now the show is getting shuffled off to a new time slot next season, which might end up being its last. It'd be odd to suddenly, finally make a big marketing push for the show right when it looks to be on its last legs.
Haha
That 3.4k like on FB speaks volumes. Their reluctance to revive the line was incredibly shortsighted. Pulling their heads outta their @$$3$ is gonna pay off because once again, they make bank and we the fans get what we want...
What a novel idea, giving the fans WHAT THEY WANT.
