Not a fan of the Marvel films, other than GOTG and Iron Man. Daredevil is a buy if the sculpt and articulation is good. No punisher for me

Yeah, I'm not either. I really, really enjoyed iron Man 1, but truly, that was it. Daredevil, to me, was the "thing" that made Marvel matter to me at all. The show is perfect, everything about it. Father in law, girlfriend, everyone I know love it without having to be comic nerds. I'm really happy HT is producing quality figures from this line.

Do you all see any other figures being made besides DD and Punisher?

Maybe Elektra, depends on other villans that show up in later seasons.I'd be shocked if Bullseye didn't turn up at some point.

Suited DD would be cool, but the show was already going downhill at that point imo. I'd prefer the black suit because of the fonder memories I have of it.

Did you come from the alternate universe where the show sucks? Because here, in our universe, the show rocks hard whole two seasons so far.

Maybe he really hated the ninja stuff in season 2? I thought that the stuff with the Hand was noticeably weaker than the rest of the series.

Season 2 was still great. Parts of the show were better than Season 1, where as other parts were weaker than Season 1.

With the way they are building this... and if they follow the comic arc.... the best is yet to come.

I'm fine taking a break from Daredevil for a while, the solo Punisher series is what I'm most hyped for.

It's a possibility but nothing has been confirmed about the show content yet that I know of

Unfortunately there isn't season 3 for DD lined up.

There will be at some point.Too many people like it and it gets good reviews so it's worth renewing.Marvel's defenders is getting in the way of the third season as that will start being filmed at the end of the year plus with Luke Cage, Iron fist, Punisher etc series coming up there is a lot of Marvel coming up on Netflix.

Anyways, any guesses when the HT figure will be out judging by past time span from announcement to release?

Maybe I spoke too soon; I have not yet finished season 2 and it is starting to look up. Currently on episode 6. Here are the issues I have so far. Spoilers ahead, obviously:

• Season 1 had all these interesting questions about what to do when your enemy is untouchable by the law, exploring Matt's darker side, etc., but he ultimately gets an easy way out because they expose Fisk
• Exposition surrounding Punisher was so ham-fisted; the scene in the graveyard would have been much more effective if it was half as long, and Castle had shared half as much
• Punisher disappears right after things with him start getting interesting—we have an idea about his motivations, he is a little sympathetic, some of us are even siding with him, and we should be seeing the fallout from him killing the Irish boss
• The Matt/Karen romance plot is so shoehorned in it's painful to watch

Seeing as the Punisher arc is not yet done, I will give them the benefit of the doubt with point 3. I still have no idea why they had Matt and Karen get interested in each other, unless the writers intentionally wanted to make it a romance with little substance, intentional awkwardness and almost no chemistry outside of sexual attraction. If that was the goal, then I can dig it.

In fact, I think this says it all for me: Daredevil has all these little cracks around Matt's interactions with people—the way he pulls the whole Betsy thing out of his ass to convince an intellectually-disabled armourer to make his suit, the way he refuses to kill Grotto so many times and then grins as he beats the living hell out of many, many thugs right after the rooftop encounter, the way he has nothing to say to Karen on their first date but then suddenly everything is going swimmingly. And if the strangeness of all that is intentional, then I'm 100% on board and I want to see where it goes next. But if it's not, then the show has issues.

The graveyard scene was what solidified Bernthal as Frank for me. What the hell are you on about?

The graveyard scene was superb. In fact, all the Punisher bits in season two are superb.
