Is Paul with Rooted hair in the Stillsuit?

That's got to hurt Aug Toys feelings...

Yeah, they're going after everyone it seems, Asmus, Aug, Threezero, probably Star Ace and SooSoo if they get the Boys license and more DC stuff, also third parties, it will be interesting to see if anyone goes toe to toe with them but in the case of third parties all QS needs to do is pull a Hot Toys and threaten Taobao retailers and other resellers or send a C&D and they take them out of the picture pretty fast, I don't see Asmus and Threezero being able to actively compete with them and come out on top.

I think I’ve come to a place of reason and responsibility. Sculpted for me because it’s a grand and it could suck. I’m 90% sure it won’t, but that extra 400 is the rotj speeder bike set.

After thinking a lot I am not going to wake up at 3 am in the morning to do the preorder. Tomorrow when I wake at 8am (+5 hours after preorders starts) I'll do my preorder. I hope there are no limit quantities and all of us have 72 hours to do the preorder.

If QS decides to stop by quantity of preorders I'll try to buy sculpted one. If not is not for me then!

I'm amazed how well Queen's marketing is working and how hyped I am. I only want the regular version, and I'm still bummed out that the pre-order starts at 3 am. I even considered getting up then to place my order directly... I'll wait till tomorrow morning as well though, there's no rush.

Well, in Asmus and ThreeZero case (as far as GoT), the franchises are so broad that they could survive on 2nd and 3rd tier characters for quite some time, ones Queen would likely never do.

I'm sure HT will release another Joker, and its likely going to be pretty cool... but I don't see that having anything to do with this figure. At the moment, this is the best version...

Does HT even do proper DXs anymore? Didn't that gimmick just get absorbed into "anything we decide."

Just the threat of another company making a better version of a character is enough to deter sales. Will Queen make a Gollum? Probably not. But what if they do

I think the biggest surprise for me would be if Hot Toys actually tried with their rooted hair for once.
All they’ve done so far is that cheap Barbie plastic hair. I don’t think they’ve ever touched the custom rooted hair material which I think is goat hair? Forgot what material it was that these custom high end rooted hair use.

Yeah I can't see them going rooted just yet either. The only way they'll probably try to compete is just with a great sculpt (maybe an expression that hasn't been done before), tons of accessories, an alternate head, and their lower pricing. Which for a lot of people will probably be enough.

I don't PO from either ThreeZero nor Asmus... so my indecision won't affect them.

But for major characters, I would wait for Queen now. BUT... if Asmus made Grima though or 3Z made Ser Gregor, I wouldn't bother waiting for Queen.

I mean, I figured the significance of characters they choose for the DX treatment went out the ****ing window when Darth Maul as seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story was a DX.

Their newest Bale Batman is a DX though.

I miss the days when a new DX figure felt like an event. Always an iconic character like Indy, Jack Sparrow, Luke Skywalker, the Terminator, Batman, Joker, etc.

- There are plans to expand internationaly but will be difficult due to other brands already having the same licenses.

- There will be rigurous QC for the Joker which may start in Q4 and last a few months.

- InArt is part of the brand and not a seperate entity, InArt is the 1/6 department.

- WB and license holders have a list of characters that they want QS to make first.

- There's interest in classic movies like Godfather, Scarface.

- QS would love to make Star Wars but currently a license too hard to get.

I would 100% buy both scarface and godfather!
People have been screaming out for Wonka for years aswell so I wonder if they'll look at that.
