Here are some progress (unpainted) shots of mine before it was painted.

Interesting. I do see some HF now. Head looks slightly too narrow from the side, but...
I see Ford in those pictures, but I still don't like it. Too elongated

This is a very good sculpt! But as guys said it seems too elongated.
Perhaps it happened while casting process or it's just a distortion maded by your camera.
Anyway here's how it will look with normal props

The Snyderman head probably appears enlongated in those photos because that version of the head has the hat hair. I was told this is the same sculpt as the photo I linked to earlier, with the hair modified to accomodate the hat. Try comparing this sculpt to pictures of Ford, not other sculpts of him. A common mistake when sculpting Ford seems to be making his head to short in proportion to the features. No one is really picking up on this but the talent behind those Snyderman sculpts is one of the more prolific sculptor/painters working in the collectibles industry. One of the few sculptors who paints their work as well. Greggo and Silentsurfer both did really nice paint ups of Marion Ravenwood but I prefer the one I bought painted from Snyderman. Both of the other painters made her irisis too big. Karen Allen has quite a lot of the whites of her eye's showing in most of her expressions.

I just took a couple pics of my Indy with repainted head in the process of some collection inventorying.

Very curious to see just how this head is gonna look with the Hot Toys DX body and clothing.

Looking good,

I will still reiterate that the jacket looks so much better if you unpick the stitches holding the collar tips down. Please guys, if you have an SSC Indy jacket, I urge you to try this. It does look so much better!

It shouldn't be difficult, the slim body may be too slim though. The narrow shouldered version seems to work better. The Hot Toys feet pegs fit into the boots with no problem.

I would definitely go with a narrow over a slim :lecture

Narrow or even regular shoulder would be good... slim really wouldn't work for Indy and with the Sideshow head being a on the large side you're asking for a funky looking figure.

As for the transition, all of it should be smooth. The heads accept the same kind of neck plug and you can use the HT feet pegs on the Sideshow shoes.

a standard Hot Toys neck post should work okay. The Sideshow head should just transfer over . I'd love to see some pics when you've completed it .

I'm getting ready to purchase one off ebay . I already bought a really nice custom whip and having a friend who is a good model painter taking a crack at repainting the head like the protoype on the box.
