out of curiosity, what are the completed dimensions of the base?

Would it fit in a 8-3/4"w x 3-5/8"d x 12-5/8"h acrylic case (made for cereal boxes)?

I don't think this thing will fit in a display case for a cereal box unless it's for one of those Costco double-thick boxes. It may also be a bit too tall and wide.

Sounds like this idea for a display case is a good one. Local plastic shops can fabricate a custom display case for a reasonable price and it would aid in keeping the figure and custom base dirt free. For those who wanted to contribute in the past, a cash donation for the case might be a good idea. Any thoughts?

Maybe someone on the 'inside' with base dimensions can contact Station via PM and ask what he'd charge? I know he does custom cases (with laser etching even!!).

I'd be willing to chip in a few bucks towards a case.

Just looked at the cases that Station makes. They look great, and the engraving he does would be great with Nathans name and his characters name on the case. Not sure how the controls for the base lights would work as I'm not familiar with it. Just a thought.

Maybe just have the case notched on that one side and the back as to not impede the switch or the plug?

Or just scrap the case all together.... lol It would looks pretty damn awesome in a case though.
