Good enough.

What you would expect in this day and age, his costume does not get in the way although if you use his vest it slightly hingers head movement but not by much.

But his ankles have none that I can find.

Very good review. The highs, the lows, detailed but not too long, admitted own bias for the character.

Echoing the good review comments. The figure looks decent, but I'm not paying that much for it. If it sits around long enough it'll get a good discount. I'd be changing a few things though... Adding a trench coat and switching the white boots for black.

Did anyone notice that I have his submachine gun in his pistol holster.

There's a trick to that, you have to use the long ammo clip (which is for that gun anyways), it fits perfectly in there with no damage to the holster, I don't think they meant it to be placed in there, but it fits!

There is no right hand for the submachine gun that I could make work so holster it had to be because I wanted his long gun in his left hand.

I refuse to leave any accessories in the package, it has to be on the figure.

Echoing the good review comments. The figure looks decent, but I'm not paying that much for it. If it sits around long enough it'll get a good discount. I'd be changing a few things though... Adding a trench coat and switching the white boots for black.

I think that's why so many folks are being so critical. At $200+ you would expect something pretty amazing.

Yeah agreed. For $180 shipped it would be much more acceptable, but after shipping he's $250 or more. The quality doesn't surpass HT so it shouldn't cost more than one.

The white boots and gloves look camp. They just don't transfer well from the comic to this figure. I keep imagining he's missing his top hat and cane.

If this sculpt gets recast it'll get a nice paint application that'll make it usable for bashes.

Yep. It's hard to justify the price when I think about my HT Arkham City Batman which was slightly cheaper but is higher quality and had extra face sculpts. Decisions, decisions.....

For that price he should've been a minimum of a 9.5 for me, ie; 2 heads!

I think the reason the white boots and gloves don't fit is they tried to use classic Punisher colors on a tactical military type outfit. Just doesn't go well together.

HT sculpts get recast all the time but do SS sculpts? I might ask Kit Chen on Facebook.

It's the mash up that doesn't work. It needs to be one thing or the other. That's the trouble with Sideshow coming up with their own designs.

The mash up works for me, especially in hand.

Thanks jye4ever for the review and pics! I'm even more excited for the fig!
Personally, I prefer this design than if Hot Toys does a Netflix version. For me, the white gloves and boots (and I would have preferred white strapping as well) make it a comic-version Punisher. The netflix costume, could be any dude wearing a punisher t-shirt.

Really? That's great. I haven't watched all the episodes of Daredevil, and from the ones I saw, he pretty much wears a leather coat and black t shirt... or long sleeve shirt...

So for the price I'm gonna look for a VTS Revenger. From the neck down this is great, I even dig the white boots and gloves but I can't deal with that leather like head. Maybe I'll get one on a discount eventually it second hand.
