Guys the second headsculpt looks awesome on Destro. I'm PO-ing day one. I need Destro to go with CC and Baroness and the throne! Classic display all three with the throne. Cannot wait

I like him. I didn't think I would but seeing close ups....I think hes a good update to a modern look. I understand that so many want comic accurate....but I'm digging him.

For everyone who hates him....I'm looking forward to seeing your custom rendition, there are a LOT of really talented customizers out here.....

The more pictures I see, the less I get impressed. But that's me, and I can honestly say that I'm one of those naysayers who really wouldn't get this, unless there'd be another shot of improved protos months from now, like HT's QS001. Can't get over the iron mask with an eyebrow that moved. Congrats to those getting their Destros.

Yeah I like him too. Throw him on a new body and you're miles better than stock already. And since lots of us do that already, the "I shouldn't have to for a $200 figure waaah waaaaaaah" argument is kind of moot at this point. For me at least.

Yes but the other headsculpt looks great. I'm sure SS will adjust things like they did with Baroness. Maybe get rid of the bolts around his head, give him a shining jewel. Tighter tailoring. He will look good I'm sure.

Baroness only needed a little adjustment. This one, as you yourself mentioned --from head to tailoring -- this guy needs a complete re-do.

Well, I suppose you're right. The only thing is how long it will take Sideshow to adjust him? Years...? I'd rather have a Destro than no Destro but aside from the nice second headsculpt, I would prefer if they stayed more true to his original card art from the 80's in terms of his outfit (and they REALLY need to ditch that first headsculpt, it's awful). Fix the jewel, clothes, first headsculpt and he would be PERFECT. That's not a tall order, is it?

The second head looks so much better. The real issue here is that jacket, if I can find a replacement (serious fail Sideshow if I have to spend more money trying to make the figure acceptable) from whichever customizer on here that looks better than the jacket Sideshow gave him, I would be more satisfied with this release.

Strange that there's no other weapon shown with him other than the pistol and blaster in his briefcase. You'd think they'd take the opportunity to give a weapons supplier a cool "new to 1:6" weapon like they did with the Baroness' Tar-21. I hope there's something more coming with Destro that hasn't been pictured.

Give him Coulson's weapon?

I appreciate him keeping the faith, and appreciate others expressing their passion towards SSC by wanting them to keep more true to the line.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I want SSC to keep making great figures, but not deviate too much artistically.

The second headsculpt has changed my mind toward a more positive view. Had it not been there.... I just can't get past that 1st sculpt grimace.....

I am sure most of the complainers here will still be buying Destro anyway....

Some of the figure looks really great and would be great parts for a great custom figure. His classic C-3PO inspired head is too primitive IMO.

I wonder if chrome would mute the details on the regular head to the point that the unnecessary details basically disappear.
