Lot of great ideas on here, don't know if I'm brave enough to try most of them but to those who have major props! I did however get a nice set of cold cathode lightsabers curtiousy of Pixelpiper!! I will try to post some pics when I get home, happy thanksgiving to all!

Hard to see without a full body shot. There's a lot of lense distortion there. The helmet appears huge. The shape and paint is a definite improvement IMO. Looks horrible I mean, better send it to me.

Althought it does seem a little narrow for the shoulders, they look to stick out too much. As I said thought, hard to tell without a full body shot without camera distortion.

The one thing that's bugging me most is the way the hood sits on the left (his right) shoulder. I might have to retailor to get that fixed, yeah. Other then that, I don't know what could/should be retailored actually. I think getting the body underneath more accurate is more important. I might have to slim down the shoulders a bit more, and perhaps fill out his chest some more.



I guess in this case it's not the inner beauty that counts.

Check my custom retailoring of the robe, I took out a lot of excess material to make it less big and more formfitting.



Also, I think the wiring gives it a more natural flow, the material doesn't have a good flow to it imo, the pattern is great though.

To me that is definatly on the small side. Too bad really cause the shape is very nice. Maybe I'll buy a knockoff kaiyodo kit and see if i can bend it to my liking!

what`s the knock off look like and where can you find them at

Unfortunately, the knock off kaiyodo kits experienced considerable shrinkage and wouldn't work, unless you want to customize a Medi scale figure. The original kit will work, though.

I know. Thanks for the heads-up anyway! It's on the cheap side because it's painted and put together, not mint. Which is not an issue when it's purpose it to get butchered.

I feel the mask and shoulder armor on that piece are more accurate sculpts and am going to try to mix and match the reveal sculpt with the kaiyodo mask. See if I can make a beauty of him!

Just won the Kaiyodo model kit for 25 bucks! Happy camper, it's not mint though.

maybe you can make some recast`s of his armor. I still like the medicom vader armor if I new how to make a back plate on the armor it would not look small since the back of the armor has no support like the ss vader armor does
