You can’t have it both ways. If your premise is that you don’t want anyone casting aspersions on the film because this thread is solely meant for the purpose of discourse on the figure (which at this point doesn’t exist), then that also extends to praising the film as well.

You either advocate that the open exchanging of opinions on the film is fine in a figure thread, or you don’t. You don’t get to pick and choose what kind of discussion on it you deem to be acceptable and then shut down any discussion on it that you don’t like by tyrannically telling people to get out when they possess an opinion that you don’t agree with, claiming that this is a thread meant to solely discuss the figure.

There may indeed be a Poe figure at some point in the future, but I don't think it'll be from TLJ, or under TLJ name.

Exactly after the "character development" of Poe in TLJ, if I was the CEO of HT I wouldn't have released him either. Other than the core fans, who really would have been hyped to buy him after that ?? Better to put him on the back burner ready for Ep9.

As a Poe fan, I agree. JJ did a way better job with Poe in what little he was in TFA than Rian did in TLJ. He did Poe a real disservice, character wise. Like, I do see what he was trying to portray - Poe's passion for his cause, his loyalty to the cause over anything else, but he didn't make it as clear as he should have, so as a result you've now got people saying Poe's the hotheaded bad guy, they don't like him, etc. Which sucks for me as a Poe fan because I see what Rian was trying to do, he just didn't do it right and I love Poe, I just do. I hope JJ makes him cool again in IX so we DO get a Poe figure. He's on my super want list.

Yes - I totally agree. This thread is for discussion of the figure for Poe Dameron, not a place to critique TLJ or talk about other characters that deserve a Hot Toys figure over Poe. But every time someone (like Chemicals) tries to voice this point, he or she is called crazy and blocked by the haters. Please show some restraint and respect.

Late to see this, thanks for the backup. All I really wanted to say was if you don't like this character, then why are you on the thread of the figure for said character? I mean if you really hate them that much then whats the point of staying here and yelling at everyone who wants one?

In The Force Awakens Poe is basically shown as perfect, but in The Last Jedi he has real flaws and is taught that its not just about what you can blow up. I would say thats a pretty good story arc.

Again tho, if you people hate a character why bother staying here to talk about it? This is supposed to be for a figure. If you don't wanna but it, just don't.
