Hmmm, I know I've said I wouldn't pick Grievous up because of lame he was in ROTS, but it is a great design and a metal version might be too cool to pass up. Also love the design of the IG bodyguard droids. Would be down for one of those with or without Grievous.

Personally I feel he redeemed himself in the CW series but that may just be me.

I will buy a well done Grievous figure. I think Sideshow has directly abandoned doing this figure and will let let Tamashii do it. At this point, I would be suprised if they even do C3PO and R2.

I believe the tamashi droids are in fact SSC official versions, are they not??

They apparently don't want to communicate on that matter but it does look like thay are handing out a few droïds to Bandaï to developpe.

I wouldnt mind a tamashii grievous but a supper battle droid by them would be to expensive for me to justify buying more than one. I am sure they will still do a majority of droids threw SSC and just give the important/complicated ones to tamashii.

Possibly. Tamashi might do a grevious, but I anticipate sideshow will finish theirs first. From a business standpoint, you've got to consider all those R&D Dollars they already put into the project. handing it off to someone else means they're accepting that R&D as a loss.

Tamashi making 3P0 dosn't prevent sideshow from making their own,
I just don't see that hapening.

Just means it will be a WHILE before they do.

And... hopefully... theirs will not weigh in at 300 lbs.

Grievous being handed out to tamashii is just a possibility. Like they did with armored figures, thay could aldo ask for help in finishing their Grievous instead of asking bandai to start from scratch.

Looking closely, the troopers seem to be 1/6th figures and Grievous's cloak appears to have a hem line so there could still be hope. Also even though they have changed concepts before now, I thought the Mythos Grievous was going to be a pre-cyborg grievous.
