He was a cool design. Too bad he coughed all the time in the movie and wasn't as cool as he looked. I think I liked him best in the Samurai Jack style cartoon from a long time ago.

Yeah, George butchered the character, apparently he didn't want a badass jedi-killer; he wanted a "classical villain", ie someone who boasts a lot then runs away at the first sign of trouble.

It's weird, for over 7 years I've been pining for an awesome Grievous figure. And now, when he appears to be on the verge of being revealed (again), I don't know that I care anymore.

Yeah. Hard to get excited about Grievous with this on the way:

Grievous and Dookie are the worst PT characters. Can't stand the sight of them or any of the scenes they are in. Ugh.

Agreed. No matter how nice it turns out, I'm going to keep the door closed to the PT. This should also preclude a Tamashii Grievous. Looking forward to what they're planning after R2, now.

Agreed 12 Inch Grievous, who could miss that vinyl suit on the gray 9th Assault Corps Clone. However I see a $250-300 price tag coming... Anyone else?

are we sure thats not just an old picture, the clones in the image are much older releases, a shocktrooper and 41st elite. this could be a previously unreleased photo from the original photo session with the old prototype
