Imho, this is a character crying out for a 1:4 scale diecast version.. which I would most definitely buy.

I have to admit, I am not digging the paint app on the face. There is no sens of dimension from the mask to his flesh. Pity. I will be passing on this one after all, it seems.

I agree. He looks like a Hasbro figure compared to the Hoth stuff. I was looking forward to this as one of the few PT pieces I pick up, but now I'm not so sure. Its just not as impressive as I'd hope, especially with that Hoth stuff right next to it.

not digging the recent pics of him at all. all this time and this is where they're at with him currently. disappointment is an understatement. hopefully there's still alot more work to be done on him, cause as is, it's a definite pass.

Watched a vid showwing a few Sideshow items at RS and he does look better than on the pics

I was psyched when I saw him shown two years ago. Now I'm not so sure.

The battle droids turned out amazing, but Grievous looks a little too plasticky. I guess I need to see more pics before I decide on whether I want it or not.

not digging the face, not menacing enough for a jedi slayer. looks too fragile as well but let's see how SS covered that area. not totally hating the figure, it's good but i like what was shown last year better

the detail round the eyes seems lacking - that needs to be addressed bu im watching with interest.

I'm very interested, but the Hoth stuff shot to the top of the list, and Grievous may end up on the chopping block. It all depends on how spaced out the release dates on all these figures are.

Let's keep in mind that the photos were taken with a flash, which as we know always makes figures look worse than they really are. I'd like to see some photos with natural lighting.

As far as the cape goes, Grievous is standing nearly his full height in these shots, so the cape would appear shorter. Generally he hunches over, and so his cape is tailored to fit his typical stance, as it is in the film.
