not digging the face, not menacing enough for a jedi slayer. looks too fragile as well but let's see how SS covered that area. not totally hating the figure, it's good but i like what was shown last year better

My old hasbro Grievous custom, around 2011..
What do you think, is he menacing enough for a jedi slayer?? :)

Very cool, Amidala!

I just took a look at this video which shows Grievous:

...and now I want him.

I think your grievous is much better based on the photos I am seeing from SDCC. Yours appears battled hardened. I remember when I first saw your pics of him a year ago. I bought a hasbro GG. He flopped - literally:slap:gah::dunno

I don't know how you were able to create such a great figure from that?

It'll all boil down to when they all actually come out. If they are staggered enough, like at least one a month, then I'm golden. But if they all decide to drop at the same time and at the worst possible time like the holidays, then I'm screwed!

Two more photos from the Star Wars panel on rebelscum

I think he looks awesome and judging by those photos of him i'd say a preorder isn't that far off, it's weird how the photos from the con make him look off but then you look at the videos and he looks fantastic, same with Vader, dodgy in pictures awesome in videos.

"Closed arms" get my preference right now. Will have to see those "opened arms" to have a definitive opinion on them but they look weird to me from those pics.

I went to the Collectibles panel and they said the version shown on the floor is the production model and what we will actually get shipped. He said he can be displayed with two or four arms but did not say whether they were swap out or actually snapped together. He said it has great articulation and can pull off many of the poses from the film.

Here are a couple of pictures from the floor I took:

Again, nice pics, Travis. I get what people are saying about Grievous looking a little plasticky but overall it's quite an accomplishment for SSC. If I were a fan of the PT and wanted something to represent it, I'd definitely pick this up. I'm still open to buying one of Grievous' IG guards, if Sideshow ever makes them. Probably my favourite PT design and something I think could be made to fit in with OT stuff.
