Yeah, its a cool enough looking stand... but has nothing to do with IG-88. I too would have preferred a standard stand if it would have kept the cost down; but as it is I'm sure I'll put him on a spare stand and use this one for something else.

The stand would look great with Vader, but he's already pretty tall....lol

You have to remember this was 100% created from scratch with little to no possibility of reuse (unlike battle droids...)

Not many Sideshow figures you can say that about - and this figure is extremely complex from a sculpt and joints engineering perspective.

True, but I can almost guarantee we will see at least one, if not more, Clone Wars inspired variants. They did it with the Gamorrean Guard and its only a matter of time (IMO) before we get a Jedi Hammerhead.

BTW; today is my IG-88 day!!! :banana :banana

Mine's waiting for an 'international shipment release' at stanstead hmm. I wonder if that means he's killing them

I have never been so happy to get a 1/6 figure....

or so afraid to touch it...:nono

I am not sure how to hold this figure to pose him....:dunno

and I keep finding new joints / articulation spots...:yess:

Question: How is his Knife / holder supposed to attach to the strap?:huh

Broke down and ordered Battle Droids off Ebay for $109 based on how well done Ig-88 is...was hoping my EX waitlist would convert but saved $10 without the '1138'

Not a big exclusive, but would have been cool

I got mine today. Looks great. Kinda bummed that he can't really hold the guns without both hands. He can't even hold his vibroblade with his hands.

Other than that he's a super awesome figure. I really like him.

How those shoulder's turning? :D j/k

FYI, there's a little peg on the right hand to fit into the blaster to hold it in place, and a hole on the left forearm to hold the peg on the bottom of the rifle butt.

:)
