The shoulders on mine turn just fine. Little tight but really easy to turn.

Some pics of mine:

Got mine today. Great figure. Easily one of Sideshow's best... from any line.

The battery/lighting mechanism on the head is very clever. More of that kind of stuff, Sideshow! :clap

Well my string of bad news continues:

1) The left arm is extremely floppy
2) Those shoulder joints aren't moving at all. Any more pressure and I'm sure something is gonna break
3) One of the little knobs on the waist was broken off
4) Box was even damaged at one corner

So yeah, replacement time and yes, it does feel extremely delicate...

Got mine today - got lucky, as my box arrived very mint:

* shoulders on mine are welded tight - could not budge them - at all

* elbows dont hold pose with guns up very well - rest is fine - does feel delicate

* weight - not an issue - such amazing detail overall, its like looking for an issue if you feel its too light, IMO

* Bespin stand is great - makes NO SENSE for Ig-88

* This figure is same height as Sideshow Vader and shorter than Hasbro Ig-88 (both fully extended)

* This figure shows how out of scale Vader really is -

Overall - blown away with quality - 'A' grade from me - love the light feature

Got mine as well today... a really excellent figure! Love the magnets on the ammo belt; everything feels like it will stay in place w/o any issues.

Shoulder joints were very tight on mine, but I let the figure sit at room temperature for a couple hours and then it was easier to move. The right shoulder does move a bit easier than the left, but I've got full rotation on both.

The rest of the joints work great and with the exception of hip movement the range of them all is very impressive! Definitely one of Sideshow's best!!!

I'll take some pics in a bit and post them up :duff

Happy there's more IGs around here. :clap He's definitely one of the coolest SW offerings if for no other reason than being the very first droid.

Weird on the shoulders though, so much inconsistency. Some move, others nope. Mine are rock solid last time I checked -- no loosening with room temperature. I even tried heat to no avail.

I emailed SS about a possible remedy but they have not gotten back to me on the issue. Probably waiting to see how many complaints they get. For $200, I do expect my articulated shoulders to work.

If anyone finds a good solution, please share because I'd hate to send this back and perhaps get a worse one.

Also, everyone needs to contribute at least one pic. Please.

Still waiting for mine to arrive!

I am in Singapore but for some strange reasons, FedEx has got my shipment stuck in Japanese customs! WTH is my package doing in Japan?? :(

The Battle Droids just barely beat IG-88 to the punch on being the first, but IG is definitely the coolest so far :lecture

So here are my pics; I took a lot more of him that usual... guess he was too much fun.

Like others have said, the base is cool but kind of a head scratcher :huh

Here's a size comparison... height looks good IMO.

And with a bit of work he can hold the blade:

great pics GB......................when his legs are fully extended does he seem a bit more unstable or top heavy-ish?

No; the legs seem to stay in pace pretty well... and he seems to be about a stable in either position. I think he would be okay w/o a stand; but since I have him on a shelf above other figures I gave him a slight backward lean to prevent any tragedies :lecture

Sideshow really seems to have done their homework on this one; really don't think they could have done much more to him than they did.

Yeah, Greedo is an awesome figure :rock Scum and Villainy has had some really winners. TBH, I can't think of a single entry in that line that has disappointed :huh

Thanks man! I hate to ask, but did you ever the parts for your Weequay?

No, my hands and weapons set are lost in space and time. But I did get a great finished head and the entire outfit so, with some luck from a unmentioned freak, I may soon have the vibro-ax...and the hands I can figure out myself.

One day I hope to have a Weequay that looks as good as yours does there.

Ask if the arms rotate. You know you want to. :lol

Smart ass.

:lol

It just drives me nuts though... you'll see, you just jinxed yourself. :)
