Hmm, don't know about the polycarbonate. And no need to worry about clear polystyrene. How many figures have clear plastic parts?

no clue.....:dunno

but to be honest i cant stand the smell of wd-40..........and i sure wouldn't want that stinking up my room..........:lol

Yes in general most plastics are considered to be polycarbonates. I would not recommend wd-40 on any plastic.

That being safer silicone based compounds are available at home depot and lowes.

Annnnddd...how 'bout that IG-88 figure, eh?

Looks like IG-88 took his vibrio axe to the last few posts. :(

I'd like the mod who deleted those posts to send me PM why they were deleted???

It's very interesting how some posters get away with murder and an innocent post about a sponge bath is deleted. Seems like a double standard. :slap

do all droids take oil baths?...........i'm thinking that a droid like ig-88 who is pretty much on the go would only have time for an oil sponge bath so.....if ig-88 took an oil sponge bath do you think he would say......"this oil sponge bath is going to feel soooo good"?.........he looks like he could use a full on bath...................he's kind of grimy.

IG-88 is a pretty big person...I think it would take a big sponge to wash all of that surface area...I'm sure it would feel good, he's gotta be cover with TONS of grime. I just hope no one impedes his right to a sponge bath, it might seem silly.

He looks really good but nowhere near quality if HT made him- take a look at any of the T 600 figures from HT for detailing/seperation of key parts and overall engineering to see how HT made it look very realistic.
Not trying to upset anyone but based on pics I have seen alot of detail is soft in body and modular sections look simplified.
But for the price....best IG 88 yet!

Thanks for that, saved me some shame.

Once you guys gets yours in hand perhaps the interest in 'greasing' this puppy will become more pronounced.

doubt it would look THAT much better.

though, it would be 4 times the price.

I take your wearing out your welcome in the HT section?

He kind of has PERS :huh

Sideshow should probably have charged an extra $100 for the head segments to be able to spin :lecture
