Just got mine on Monday and loving it! I used the IG-88 stand on the Medicom ROTJ Fett and I'm loving the result. It shows just how tall IG-88 really is. Now, if only I could figure out how to upload the pic I took...

Mine has wobbly knees and elbows, but i can still pose him in a killing stance well enough (i wouldn't try breathing near him though lol). Ill prob try see to it after the fear of touching a new figure feeling wears off!

I tried the hairdryer on my left shoulder and nothing..the right one (his right) i got to move without the aid of heat...but damn if the other one will move...awesome figure btw

And I'm still waiting for Sideshow to respond to my inquiries about the "stuck" shoulders. Not sure if they can come back with a fix, or offer an exchange (which is useless given how wide a variety of issues there are with the shoulders).

Yours may be a lot worse than mine was, but 1 of my shoulders felt welded until I hairdryered it for 2mins point blank range, then moved the thin arm piece to 90 degrees to the body so I could get a firmer grip on shoulder round piece, then I struggled to turn it till it budged then I kept rotating it over and over for ages while I watched tv - broke it in to a usable level

Now that Ig-88 has been on the shelf for half a day, he does stand out as an amazing piece...Bring on Fett - just hope they are using the armored Pro body - not a fan of the non armored one....

Just unboxed this guy, really nice figure. My only complaint is that is difficult to get the weapons to stay in his hands. I might need to mod the hands a bit.

I got the shoulders to loosen up with the "hairdryer trick".

Im not sure what I am going to do with the stand. Its nice, but it doesnt really go well with IG88.

Awesome figure, well done Sideshow!!:clap :clap

Iggy arrived home safe and sound about an hour ago. He looks amazing!!! Sideshow nailed him! Neither shoulder turns....tried the hair dryer trick and it still seemed tight...don't want to risk breaking him. Plus I'd never pose him with his arms up.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this yet....the only problem I have is that the on/off switch for the base is on the bottom. :slap:slap That means every time I want to turn it on, I've got to flip it over. (Thats what she said)

Seriously though...that's a huge oversight. My HT bases have the switch on the back, I'm sure SS could have engineered it that way.

Watching City vs. Liverpool now...I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Well, I can honestly say that up until today, I've never injured myself with any of my SSC figures. :lol I got my exclusive IG-88 this afternoon, and upon removing him from the box, I turned him over to see how I should go about slipping his bandolier on. When I wrapped my hand around his torso, my thumb went onto his chest spike, which promptly sank all the way into the skin under my nail. It bled. And it hurts.

He's a bounty hunter..what did you expect him to do? Give you a kiss? He's a bounty hunter out for blood! :rotfl

.

I agree completely, I've had mine set up for a few days, and it's a pain having to take him off the base every time I want to light it up. I wish they would have put the button on the back, or had a button on the lights he's standing in front of, it would be easy enough to hide.

I have had no luck getting the arms on mine to move at all, haven't tried the hairdryer yet, but I might this weekend. Not really worried about it cause I'll probably never move them anyway, but I hope it's not an issue with 3po when they get around to him cause I'm definately going to be moving those ones.

:lol :lol That sucks man; I was actually caught off guard by that too. I was not injured, but it poked my finger and I was very confused why there was something so painful associated with handling a figure :lol

OK I got his right arm to move while heating up his left arm?
I know weird right? Now his left arm still won't budge.
I've seen a few people saying his height can extend, how?
Do his legs telescope or what?
Please let me know,I don't want to be pulling on his legs and have
them break.
***Awesome news, I just got his left arm to rotate too!
Just when I was about to give up after using a ton of heat and
strength, a little nudge and twist did it!***

I still need to know about this whole height issue though!

I warned you guys. That biyatch keeps biting me too every time I pick him up. *******.

Its supposed to be silver anyway, so i'm gonna paint it and hopefully I'll see it better this way.

I got him today and like others, the shoulders were pretty tight. The right one moved right out of box but the left one was stuck. I was able to get it moving but it is still tighter than the right one by far. Some of the swivel joints on the left arm are also pretty loose so I will be tightening them up a little later on.
