The exclusive is kinda meh could have been something cooler ...Still awesome its BOBA FETT baddest bounty hunter in the galaxy ....

I did a few mods to this and holy F___ it was a lot of work but I'm really loving this thing.

So what all did you do, mod wise, Lopie? Yours is looking great!

Got mine this afternoon! Shipped on Monday and delivered on Friday, not bad for International delivery.

Want to do a gloss clear coat over the visor, but it doesn't look removable despite being a separate mold piece.

First impressions are that the green on the armor plate is still a tad light for my personal preference, but it looks better when under low lighting conditions. And the orange on the base is so dull!

The gauntlets look great though, and the wired drape is awesome. I'll let his Clone Buddies give him a bit of a make-over before I take some proper pics though.

Great pic. :lol

I just got my Sideshow Boba Fett and I unboxed him and replaced my Hasbro VOTC with him. I didn't spend a lot of time posing him or fiddling with the details (I haven't even unpacked the stand yet) but I thought I would post a comparison shot. I was hesitant to get the sideshow figure because I thought the Hasbro one I had we really good for the price, but I couldn't help wanting to upgrade. What do you think- was it worth it?

I like the helmet, the materials of the costume and the details a lot better on the sideshow figure, but I am following the various custom fixes people are doing and plan on doing some myself later on.

Honestly the "boxiness" of the vest does not bother me as much as the fact that you can see the edge of the plastic piece underneath creating a slight crease and "corner" on the side of the vest.

The other thing I want to fix is that I think the piece of armor that goes around the neck is to far forward and should not be touching the green pieces of chest armor connected to the vest. Has anyone been able to adjust this?

check the modification thread for this figure.all answers are there :wave

Thanks for the positive feedback guys
as for the MOD, I removed the plastic backing, took out the belly plate and curved it. Sowed the vest tighter, and padded the body. Oh, and I bent the back armor around the neck and padded it so the bib wont move forward. Now that I'm writing what I did it doesn't seen like much but it took forever.

This is easily my favorite figure now. LLLOOOOVVVEEEE it! Well the MODed version.

I don't think you meant "from the from "?

Why does that matter? I'm new to taking photo's, thanks.

Well, I'm certainly no expert, but since the sun was overhead, and bright, this intensifies contrast and harsh lighting, and makes the details on the subject (Boba Fett and the others) less visible. This can be corrected in lots of ways, the easist being a camera's flash. The effect isn't present in all the pictures, some more so than others.

There's nothing wrong with the pics, they look great, but it would've been nice to see Fett and the others a bit more lit up from the front, rather than just overhead.

Very creative and entertaining! I hope to see more.

I hate taking pics but thanks for the tips. I'll take some more when the sun is in a different position.

How much did you take the vest in? Just a bit on both sides?

I'm interestedin the mod with the back armor. I'm trying to imagine it, did you bend it backward?

I took the vest in a little on both sides. I used hot glue to bend the armor, but before I bend it I use some cooking oil so that the glue wont stick works great. I used this method to bend the Stormtrooper armor. For the back plate I bent it in at the shoulders be careful not to bend it too far. Hope that helps.

OK I have a quick question.
Where does the other end of the clear tube on Boba's right arm go?
Mine fell loose while I was handling him. It's not loose from the fore arm piece but from where ever the other end goes?
I never looked at where it was positioned,so can some one tell me where it goes on his arm?
Thanks in advance!

Awesome, thank you! Interesting method of reshaping the armor too. :hi5:

Hey Lopie, nice pics and mods! How exactly does the hot glue work to bend the armor? I don't quite understand. You pour hot glue from a glue gun on the armor to heat it, and that heat makes the armor pliable?

man all these pics of the mods are looking awesome.

the days of boba fett not drowning are over........:lecture...........:monkey3
