The sculpt looks pretty off to me somehow, don't get me wrong I will be buying, but it seems more a Hasbro offering quality wise. I am not feeling the environment, it is too small from what was in the movie and the cut off was done very odd, what is that metal looking wish bone thing on the left side and whats up with the honeycomb thing on the right? It looks too much like a play set for my taste... and then there is the cost, way too much green IMO.
also: there is something in that sculpt that makes me think of Anthony Hopkins, like a little green Hannibal ;-)

I'll probably still pick this up at some point, but the more I look at it I'm sort of torn by this environment. I look at it and it looks small as if it's incomplete, but at the same time it so large finding a space for it will require work.

I like the sculpt in the profile shots of Yoda's noggin. Not sure about the other pics, though.

Pretty sure he's talking about someone in the US ordering the hut from a UK site.
Sometimes importing is the only option available!

Having looked at several different shots of the hut...well, it's an impressive effort, packed with detail and all but...it's just too much display-wise for me. Yoda is lost in that thing....and at this scale, it kinda screams "doll house"....um, no thanks.
Again, I'm not dissing it...it's a cool piece and reflects a key ESB scene environment, but...I'd rather display Yoda in a way that's a little more focused on him. That's why I'm liking the log that comes with the figure...some good display options there with just that one small piece.
The perfect way to display him for me is....if Sideshow produces a "Dagobah Training"-style Luke with a back pack...like their premium-format figure from a few years back...that's the real key-ESB scene(s) display to go for me.
Congrats to all that are going for the hut...but I'll wait this out and see what's next...

I guess it's just a matter of personal opinion, but I think SS's Yoda totally blows away Medicom's. I thought he looked great before, but the SDCC pictures really sealed the deal. I pre-orderered the exclusive and am totally stoked for him.
The hut is simply amazing! If I only had that kind of money, and somewhere to put it! Really can't believe they made this thing.

Yoda is a must and is in my opinion better than the Medicom version. I don't know what it was but the Medicom Yoda looked much older and skinnier than TESB Yoda

While I really don't like it when people blame all of Sideshow's missteps on Lucasfilm, I think it's entirely possible that they were behind the issues with this. If you look at how Yoda is portrayed in most action figures and statues in recent years, it looks a lot more like this figure than the actual ESB puppet. It could be that they have decided that Yoda shouldn't have such an underbite, for example. Or that he should be greener.

Wow, he looks pretty damn good. This is the type of resemblance I was hoping Sideshow would pull through, just perhaps a tad wider eyed. They had five years of preparation to get it right...

Koto's face is a little too flat and wide, but awesome nonetheless.
If you're saying Sideshow had 5 years to get it perfect, then I don't know what to tell you. I think they did a damn good job of it if Koto's is the only piece that has ever been better than it. (And, it is.)
